COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is made in the pumpkin beer tradition, except instead of pumpkins we used yams, and lots of them! A big Belgian-style brown ale of 10% ABV, this one is bringing pumpkin beers (or yam beers) into new territory.

Clear golden brown pour with a thin cream colored head. Aroma is sweet maple syrup, spice, bread, and booze. Taste is bread, nuts, sweet syrup, spice and somewhat vegetal. Some boozy heat. Medium body with some lively carbonation.

Tap at gravity. Mahogany with small head. Wonderful aroma of maple and spice. Flavor follows, with some apple pie spicing. Caramel. Really nice dessert beer.

Sampel w Chmielarni na Marszałkowskiej. Aromat to karamel, landrynki. Smak słodki, w smaku suszone owoce, cukierki. Brak syropu klonowego.

Bardzo przyprawowe, fajna dynia bez dyni. Szkoda że w tegorocznym tak mało syropu klonowego.

Cloudy brown pour with a light beige head. The aroma is earthy with toffee and caramel malts dominating, and a sweet candied fruit. Taste is pretty sweet, with prune and raisin notes, Belgian Dubbel type yeast flavors and a underlying richness throughout. Heavy booze content, has some alcohol burn. Syrup like in texture, but not flavor. Yams are lost to me except for the underlying earthy notes, and the same goes for the maple, it was completely undetectable to me.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2016 Hazy red brown colored body, with an ample lasting ring of head. Active legs. Strong aromas of banana, clove, brown sugar, maple, and yes, sweet potato. Sweet, but not to the point of cloying. A decent representation of the belgian style. Drier finish. As I drink more of this it becomes harder to stomach. Weird how this drinks better cold, generally I find the opposite to be true. I think 12 oz bottles might be a better option for this beer. I had to pour the last few ounces of it out.

Strong yeasty spicy aroma, caramel, bread, nutmeg, cinnamon Pours an amber brown color with frothy off white head that bubbles down and becomes a small head Sweet bready caramel flavor with plenty of yeasty spice, nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. Well balanced but a bit on the sweet side. Medium full bodied, alcohol warmth, high bubble frothy carbonation feel, lingering sweet bready finish. Enjoyable beer. Interesting flavors, good sipper. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Gambrinus. Tons of yam on the nose, with clove, cinnamon, star anise and cardamom dominating. Light-bodied, with tons of spice on the palate. Yams work pretty well, but just too boozy. 4 oz pour was more than enough.
