COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is made in the pumpkin beer tradition, except instead of pumpkins we used yams, and lots of them! A big Belgian-style brown ale of 10% ABV, this one is bringing pumpkin beers (or yam beers) into new territory.

Malty surary aroma, very light carbonation no head. very sweet...hung around mouth too long. Good flavors but just a little too sweet for me. May be that is what was intended. May be with some age it may dry out.

2017. Bardzo dziwne, jakiś banan, jakieś goździki, syrop klonowy, jakieś inne ciężkie do opisania przyprawy i słodkie ziemniaki. Meh/10, nie ma co powtarzać.

Butelka. Intesywnie w aromacie. Przyprawy, dynia, wanilia. Wodniste, zero wysycenia. Syropu klonowego brak. Duże rozczarowanie z The Bruery.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2018 W aromacie imerialny dunkel weizen. Wygląd ok. W smaku również pszenica plus syrop klonowy. Wytrawny, alkoholowy finisz. Słabe.

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2017 butelka. czarne, niemal klarowne, z refleksami przy powierzchni. ładny lacing, piana drobniutka, kremowa. aromat cynamon, dynia, zupa ziemniaczana, słodkie, saisonowe, alkoholowe. w smaku niejednoznaczne, gorzka czekolada, słodowe, ziemiste, warzywne, nie moja bajka, ale ciekawe

Bottle supplied by my daughter in law. Split 4 ways. Pours a dark reddish brown with a one finger beige head. Good lace. Caramel malt, brown sugar, vanilla and various spices on the aroma. Semi sweet flavor. A bit earthy and vegetal. Full bodied. Nice!

25.4floz (750ml) bottle, no date (guesstimate this is 2016 release, when this brewery freshly started distributing in the area, they allocated some of this in the spring of 2017 to a few stores and bars), forget how much I paid (pretty sure it was a sale price for about 3/5 of normal), pint glass. Sweet yammy yams. This here is a murky amber-brown ale with a sour aroma. Taste is more of the candy part of candy yams - sugar and spice (cinnamon), but short of being cloying. Heavy beer. It's decent with the caveats that this is a very specific type of mood beer. I do find it better than the vast majority of pumpkin beers available. Still, I prefer a yam or a sweet potato eaten. Not drank. Overall, I'm giving it the prime number 3, but on the very most special of occasions it could rate a high 3.xx. (*rare*). In any given season besides fall, this rates more like a mid 2.xx. I'm no weirdo.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2017 Great local beer. If you come across it I recommend drinking it while raking the leaves

Bottle - pours red with a fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet, vegetables, tart apples and spice. Taste is a confused mix of veg and spice...not keen on it.
