Holy cow, yeah baby, wango tango, yeh hah, heh heh, zipity do dah. Needless to say I loved it. This shit rocks heavy! WOW! If you can’t appreciate this beer. You need to get your taste buds checked. You got to try this beer. If you try it based on my review and don’t like it I will send what you paid for the bottle. It’s that good. Lovely Belgium character. jwitt223 (23) - California, USA - OCT 9, 2016
bottle to tulip. a thick maple aroma and almost porter opaqueness. Smooth with the complex beauty of flavors expected from the Bruery. ocdrinker909 (33) - USA - APR 21, 2010
750ml bpttle. Pours a deep red, thin head. Aroma is incredible. Spicy pumpkin, clove, cinnamon, sweet malts, slight roast, brown sugar, nutmeg. Mild spicy taste. the yams really come through. Sweet candy sugar? Hides the ABV very well. A great winter sipper if you ask me and one of the top pumpkin beers around. Great body, color and flavor. Sweet with fizzy carbonation. Less thick than expected. b79turner (260) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - AUG 7, 2011
Bottle purchased at Whole Foods in Napa, CA in June 2011. Poured into a tulip glass. Rich brown color with 1-1/2" head. Lacing all around the glass. Medium-high carbonation. Very smooth beer, alcohol is slightly warming but not overwhelming. I noticed the yams, but compliments the beer well. This is a fantastic brew...but then again, I haven’t had a bad one from The Bruery.

You can taste the alcohol upfront. Thick, spicy, maple. Strong and delicious. Warm all the way down. Peacehammer (624) - California, USA - NOV 12, 2011
Pours a thick, dark copper. The Yams give this beer a very full body. Aroma of Cinnamon and Vanilla. Easy to drink despite the full body. At over 10% the beer’s characteristics hide it’s alcohol content very well. MRodgers1982 (111) - USA - SEP 26, 2014
Great beer, spice malt aroma. Taste pumkin/yams...slightly sweet, great carbonation brought out the wonderful flavors that meshed so well. Ctplt777 (530) - Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA - SEP 27, 2015
This is fall in a glass. Give up the pumpkin beers and graduate to this absolute beautiful creation. Beautiful dark brown color with a nice thin white head to contrast. Smells like pie. Big cinnamon, nutmeg and maple syrup. Totally sweet and bready as well. Taste is more of that cinnamon and nutmeg and big vanilla and syrup. It doesn’t taste like a yam forward beer which is fine, but you definitely get a subtle yam taste so it just adds to the experience. It’s a big beer and a sipper for sure. You don’t get any unpleasant alcohol burn but it is warming in a good way. Overall this is a treat. I absolutely loved this beer and I am not a fan of pumpkin beer, but I can get behind this in the fall. Great stuff. Cheers! iggynelix (136) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 3, 2009
the spice notes of this were perfect for the cool fall evening. the molasses and yams really come through, but don’t overpower. this was one of my favourite dinner bottles this season.
