Barrel aged rugbrod. Sampled at the barrel party... Pours a mostly
opaque reddish shade of mahogony and topped with a thin wispy light
beige head... Apple whiskey nose predominantly not bready or spiced or
really resemblance of the base beer... Green apple whiskey again
abundant in the flavor while leaving a modicum of earthy spice towards
the backend. Somewhat muddled but not too boozy. Medium to full bodied

On tap. Pours with a hazy copper hue with a tan head that lasts. Aromas of fudge, lots of esters (pear and apple), red wine, chocolate, spice, light acetone, brown sugar, vanilla and oak. Pours a light brown color with a small off-white head. Jesus does this smell awful. Acetone, nail polish remover, celery, and green apple peels. A light lactic note, maybe some wood. The flavor is almost painful. Intense acetone, celery, and green apple skin. Very...vegetal and harsh. Light bodied with intense carbonation (which does not help the abrasive flavors).
