Had on draft at the brewery. Soft spice in the nose, caramel and sweet malts, fruity/estery, well balanced, yeasty, hoppy and malty. dreadnord (1012) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Pours clear pale yellow with a thick white head. The nose is weak overall. Some ginger and citrus with some booze notes. The taste is medium sweet and medium high bitter. Texture is oilish, the body is medium and finish is long.

This has basically no aroma. The least impressive of the group, mostly has the flavor and taste of a plain saison/golden ale. Good, but not equal to the others. anders37 (26657) - Malmö, SWEDEN - APR 8, 2013

Tap at The Bruery. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a large, creamy white head, long retention with excellent lacing. Aroma is fruity esters (pear, apple, peach), cracker and biscuit malt with earthy hops. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, medium spices and a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Draft at the Bruery. Golden yellow, with a white head. Sweet malt, clove spice, yeast, banana, bread. JohnnyJ (5562) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 3, 2013
Draft at the Bruery. Golden yellow, with a white head. Sweet doughy malt, spice, yeast, banana, and fruity esters. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 27, 2013
Golden in color with a white head and slight haze. Weird spice and wet paper/cardboard aroma. Some bread, sugar, orange, and very peppery. Slight yeastiness and a bit of must. The flavor is not terribly appealing either. Strong yeast, pepper, and paper flavors. Some sweet sugar, mild spice, yeast, and citrus. Easily my least favorite of the five variations.
