Clear amber color with ivory head. Nice bready, yeasty, dry spice, herbal, caramel aromas. medium body, average carbonation. Grainy bready wheat, caramel, sour dough flavors--fresh brew de guard. arminjewell (9725) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 26, 2012
On tap at Falling Rock, pour was cloudy orange with nice white head, aroma has notes of lots of coriander, lemon, hints of cedar, some odd spice notes as well, interesting for sure. Taste is a mix of spicy lemon peel, hints of pepper, cedar, touch of fleshy malts in there (zucchini?) finishing fairly sweet. Ok, but a bit odd. On tapat Falling Rock poured a clear tarnished gold with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of straw, earthiness, spice and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, spice, light carmel and light fruittiness with a smooth lingering carmel finish. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 14, 2012
A - Served a cloudy golden orange color wit ha finger of frothy white head. The head faded down slowly leaving behind lots of lace.
S - Aroma is a mix of Belgian yeasts with some farmhouse smells, with some spices, earthiness, and vegetable aromas.
T - Starts off with some vegetable and earthy flavors with a bit of Belgian yeasts and caramel. Through the middle, some wood comes through with some lemon and stronger yeast flavors with some clove and banana. The finish is a mix of yeast and spices with some more vegetable flavor.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a bit of sharpness on the tongue.
D - Very drinkable. Interesting mix of flavors but comes together nicely, especially the vegetable flavors. Dogbrick (14299) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Sample at Bruery Provisions. Pours a clear orange-gold color with a medium thick white head that burns away steadily. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, citrus and herbal hops. Medium body with flavors of citrus, yeast, hops and spices. The finish is herbs and spices with a citrus aftertaste. Decent overall.

(on draught at the Provisions Store). Pours mostly clear golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet with lemon, belgian yeast and some vegetal notes? Taste is sweet with a bit of a tart twang. Getting some fennel. Full bodied with a creamy texture. The mouthfeel shows the cedar which is similar to Loakal Red in that respect. Pretty nice and not as crazy tasting as it sounds. Draft. Clear gold pour with white head. Bready, some sweetish mashed vegtables, spice, phenolic, and a cheap sugary sweetness. Not my favorite, in fact its far from it. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - NOV 28, 2011
On tap at Provisions. Pours with a pitch perfect clear golden body with a massive, thick and lasting white head. Aromas are very spicy, phenol, sage, bready, cedar, anise (light), bready and grainy. Ester wise it is quite clean. Taste is a bit sweet. Showcase of malt over yeast: bready, malty. Lightly herbal and spicy. Toasty. Soft and pretty clean overall (fermented low I guess, somewhat to style). Medium to lively bubbles, dry and a bit of spice or phenol in the finish. Draft @ monkey paw. Hazed bronze, thin sheet of white. Smells of old fruit, I guess. Flavors are heavily yeasty, belgian in character, phleghmy in the throat, somewhat citrusy with a large dose of clove as well. Thick, heavy and syrupy body coupled with a heavy, muddled, gross yeast profile combine into something a kin to a malt liquor with half the water evaporated out of it. I should not have ordered this. This ticking shit is stupid....why the hell should I even attempt to drink stuff like this just to rate it. I hate this shit and I hate ratebeer.
