COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
What happens when 8 maids lay down in bourbon barrels for about a year? This: a rare variation to the 8th beer in our 12 Days of Christmas series. The Belgian-style imperial milk stout emerges this holiday season with deeper, richer, darker, more velvety milk chocolate notes, along with amplified roastiness and ripples of caramel, coconut and vanilla character. Drink it alongside the standard 2015 release to revel in the udderances achieved in barrel-aging, and lay a few down for up to three years to be enjoyed upon the release of 12 Drummers Drumming.

On tap @ The Bruery. Brown, nearly black, with a tan head. Pretty nice beer here with some bourbon, oak, and vanilla. Has a touch of molasses and gingerbread cookie, too. Good amount of dark fruit character and sweetness, but it isn’t syrupy and goopy like a lot of the BA Bruery offerings. Pretty decent, though nothing amazing.
