"A low abv Black Tuesday blend/2nd runnings type brew. Not bad if you don’t have it side by side with bigger beers. Actually a pretty pleasant brown with slight hints of caramel, chocolate and bourbon, and a roasted malt presence that Black Tuesday lacks." JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 27, 2013
Draft. Dark brown color, with a light tan head. Sweetness, roasted malt, notes of chocolate, and light earthy hops. A standard malt forward brown ale. Not too interesting, but decent. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - NOV 6, 2012
(Draught) Pours an opaque dark brown (near black) body with a medium tan head. Aroma of cocoa, roasted malt, smoke, and vanilla. Flavor of raisins, cocoa, vanilla, caramel, and nuts. bs476 (81) - - SEP 9, 2012
caramel, chocolate, coffee, toast, roasty. Coke brown, hazy, minimal head. medium sweetness, medium bitterness. ale-like body, medium feel, average carbonation, long finish. A big brown ale. Originally thought it was a porter but clarity (compared to stout) made it an ale. Would recommend. Dogbrick (13751) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 31, 2012
Sample at Bruery Provisions. The beer pours a dark brown color with a medium light beige head that diminishes slowly. Small patches of lacing. The aroma is malty with some roasted nut and hop notes. Medium-bodied with a roasty character of malt and nuts plus some mild hops. The finish is sweet with a mocha aftertaste. Decent overall.

9 aug 2012, tap at the Bruery. Dark brown. Nose is nutty and ground coffee beans. Thin body and faintly fizzy. Tastes of milky coffee with some hints of dark coffee in the finish. Pretty nice and drinkable.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish. beersearcher (2383) - Glendale, California, USA - AUG 4, 2012
A surprisingly restrained offering from the Bruery. This is about as straight up as you will get from them. A bit of excess of roasty/burnt notes throughout but it has a nice spice kick added that really adds to the mouthfeel. Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Pours a deep black color with aroma of roasted almonds mixed with burnt hops. The taste is clean and rfreshing with a typical mild brown ale taste. A very tasty beer that lacks a little complexity but overall is easy drinking and a decent mouthful.
