COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cacaonut is a special treat. A rare and secret blend of several different barrel aged beers that we’ve pulled from our cellar along with toasted coconut and cacao nibs from San Francisco’s TCHO.

The inspiration for this beer were the unique flavors of a chocolate dipped coconut macaroon. After polishing off a few of those dense, sweet and delicious, coconut treats, Patrick started thinking through the flavor profiles of some of our favorite barrel aged beers, deciphering a way to replicate the luscious qualities of that favorite treat. Spice, rich toffee, cocoa and tropical notes blend deliciously and delicately in this newest barrel aged addition to our collection.

Bottle at home with friends. Pour is murky orange with a small tan head and good lacing. Big coconut, tangy fruits, bready, white chocolate, dark fruits, and spice in the aroma. Taste is tangy sour fruits, coconut, orange juice, cooked veggies, and vanilla. Medium body with high carbonation. Completely infected shit. Bleh.

Bottle @ Stephen’s house. Pours a murky dark orangish appearance with a cream colored head. Twangy, caramel, red fruity, nutty, vanilla nose. Chewy wood. Acetic, berry flavor. Coconut and vanilla. Actually, quite sour. No.

Bottle shared at Jeff’s. Knew this was probably infected but had to check it out. Yep, sour bomb. What sucks is you can tell there’s a very nice caramel, toffee, cocoa, coconut base underneath the sour. Will contact The Bruery to get a credit.

Dark amber pour, cream colored head. When I had this beer it was freshly bottled. I tasted the mounds candy bar underneath. It sadly some sour messy notes too. Not so good.

baraciisch (3337) - California, USA - FEB 25, 2014
Hazy tan in color... Aroma of white chocolate, coconut, caramel, vanilla, tropical fruit... Flavor is similar to white chocolate, with notes of coconut, slightly acidic tart finish which tastes unintended... Boozy... Okay at best ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Reserve Society bottle. Nose is vinegar and cacao nibs. Yes it is indeed an infected bottle. I sipped it to confirm the infection. Sour red wine and cough medicine. This sounded like a great beer to try, unfortunately I may never get to try it, oh well.
