Bottle at tad’s. Pours black, nose is chocolate, bourbon, coconut, vanilla, taste is similar, sweet, not that boozy. Sebilinz (2723) - Linz, AUSTRIA - MAR 4, 2015
Bottle shared by MisoW. Black body with nearly no tan head. Very rich aroma of chocolate and some vanilla and alcohol. Taste is sweet chocolate with some coffee and alcohol and hints of liquorice and hints of vanilla. Aftertaste is alcohol coffee chocolate. I usually don’t like to much alcohol but this was nice an ideal bottle to share. BBB63 (6567) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - FEB 20, 2015
Backlogged rating, Bottle share: Pretty much looks like every big bad Impy from Bruery, opaque with small head and oily tears. Huge chocolate covered boozy cherries candy and a bit of a white russian too. Roasted walnuts, charred barrel, touch of dark fruit and a hint of pepper. Rich and lush mouth feel that is cleansed by the massive alcohol. Another where even 2 ounces is hard to finish. Oh so sweet and decadent. Better than Mocha Wednesday but less than Black Tuesday or Gray Monday. Werckmeister (3444) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - FEB 15, 2015

Dark brown body, with a tiny head.
Heavy, boozy aroma, with chocolate, coffee, liquorice, coconut, vanilla, dried fruits.
Taste also with a massive alcohol presence, but otherwise simply amazing, with the above mentioned aromas and more, complex sweet notes.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a low carbonation.
Finishes quite smooth, alcohol warming, astringent.
Wow, amazing stuff! Drinks like a heavy, complex, dark chocolate liqueur. The alcohol is really overwhelming, but it still fits and gives the beer even more character. Couldn’t drink much of this, but enjoyed it big time!
Bottle. Aroma lots of chocolate, dried fruits, alcohol, very inviting. Relatively watery texture surprisingly. Very dark, dark brown head. Very rich taste, lots and lots of chocolate, coconut, dried fruits. Classic, rich, exquisite. Cuso (8950) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - FEB 14, 2015
Bottle kindly shared by MisoW, many thanks. Very dark chestnut brown color with medium beige head. Nice aroma of dark chocolate, peat, ash, coconut. Very sweet taste of chocolate, caramel, nuts, vanilla, coconuts, ash, peat, whiskey. Delicious. MisoW (3698) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - FEB 14, 2015
Bottle at Wien tasting 02/2015. Beer from ineedbeer, my Secret winter Santa 2014, many thanks. Pours brown color, beige head. Aroma is sweet, lot of chocolate, coffee, roasted, cherries, caramel, warming alcohol, peated, coconut, vanilla. Taste is sweet, warming alcohol, chocolate, wood, vanilla, coffee, coconut, cherries. Really nice chocolate finish with warming alcohol. Boutip (6628) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 6, 2015
Bottle: Poured a dark brown/black color ale with a small foamy head with minimal retention and some light lacing. Aroma of black chocolates with quite a bit of residual sugar notes. Taste is also dominated by black chocolate notes with loads of residual sugar and a spicy finish. Vanilla notes are more subtle but kind of help smooth some of the rough edges of this beer. Body is about average for style with medium carbonation and warming alcohol can be detected. Big beer or sure that need to be split up between a couple of people, but very enjoyable beer nonetheless. ineedbeer (2301) - Oakland, California, USA - JAN 3, 2015
750 ml 2014 vintage bottle.
Aroma is very sweet and chocolate forward with quite a but of bourbon. Hints of vanilla and marshmallow fluff. Some caramel, toffee and raisins. Light alcohol spice.
Pours a dark brown but not quite black with a small, moderately thick, light mocha head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Light lacing and sheets of alcohol.
Flavor is very sweet with a lot of chocolate character and some light roast. Quite a bit of bourbon character as well that interacts to add faint coconut, vanilla and nuts. Some caramel and toffee with some lighter marshmallow fluff and raisins. Moderate alcohol heat with moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is full bodied with low carbonation. Low astringency and medium alcohol warmth.
Overall, an alright beer but it is very thick and syrupy. Lots of chocolate and bourbon character. This is the toughest of the big Bruery beers for me to get through.
