Tap at The Bruery. Light cloudy orange with no head. Aroma of honey and slight sourness. Taste is overwhelmingly honey with not much tartness. No alcohol present. Very sweet.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a very hazy moderate orange with no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy sour notes with no real sweet notes present. Taste is initially slight lacto sour and then very, very sweet but yet not cloyingly so. No sour finish at all. Overall, this is very odd as the nose totally doesn’t fit the rest of the beer as apparently the honey really took over on this one. Tastes in a way like a non-descript fruit juice with the consistency and sweet taste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a cloudy golden orange with no head. Moderate tartness on the nose with a nice lactic note. A light sweetness and perhaps it’s just the power of suggestion, but I do get some herbal aromas. A bit of oak in there, too. Flavor is nicely tart with moderate sweetness, a bit of sage, oak, and grass. Could use more assertive tartness, but it’s still good. Just a hint of white grape.
