Pour on tap at the brewery, clear yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought big smoke, campfire, oak, slight roast, hints of cracker, biscuit, bready notes, hints of grass and spice as well. On tap at the Bruery; a goldish color beer. Aroma was smoky, maybe meaty, with some band-aid qualities. Flavor had alot of smoke with a bit of a medicinal quality to it. Not sure its a stand out for the style. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 16, 2013
Tap at The Bruery. Clear straw pour with medium to weak white foam. Rich bacon fat nose with honey glazed ham. Taste is soapy, hoppy, lingering honey ham and sweet bacon. Solid smoked blonde lager- tough to make. Mild apple and pear. Enjoyed this, but I love rauchbier.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a mostly clear golden color, with a white head. Smokey, meaty, campfire smoke, a bit fruity, a touch of salt, and light bread. I enjoyed it. Fairly easy drinking for a smoked. brokensail (16444) - Dublin, California, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Mild haze on the golden pour with a whit head. Smokey, meaty malt aroma. Wood, almonds, salt, and maybe some peat. Minimal hops or sweetness. Tastes of bitter charred wood, smoke, almonds, and meat. Slight bready sweetness, mild hops, and a hint of esters. Dry and smoky finish.
