Firkin at The Bruery. Dark almost black pour. Not much different than the normal Grandma Katz’s. Cherry is very subtle. Lots of deep roasty flavor. I liked the regular version on nitro better. brokensail (16486) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 4, 2013
Black pour with a small off-white head. The nose is really bland and muted. Slight cherry, but mostly just roasted malt. A bit of coffee, some dark chocolate, and a subtle fruit tartness. The flavor is watery and bland. Roasted malt, coffee grounds, and mild chocolate. Light cherry flavor, some fruit skin, and a subtle tartness on the finish.
