Bottle shared by alexsdad06 pour opaque black with thin tan head. Nose sweet malt, soy sauce, molasses. Taste big sweet flavors up front, chocolate, light roast, but mostly big sweet mess. Not sure I can pick out the hazelnut from the base. Big desert beer. Nice thick mouth feel. djd07 (14358) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 8, 2016
2015 bottle. Pours black with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong bourbon, wood, chocolate, hazelnut. Thick, chewy, boozy, dark fruit, wood, overly sweet but very good. hopdog (12341) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 28, 2016
750ml bottle. Poured a black color with a tan head. Dark fruits, hazelnuts, bourbon, chocolate, and vanilla. pras (602) - Maryland, USA - MAR 3, 2016
I think for me I am just lost on imperial barrel aged beers. This bottle poured pitch black with aromas of chocolate, and other roasty goodness. Flavor was more of the same with a nice boozy character shining through. There was alot going on in this beer. It was good, just not necessarily my favorite style which may have made it less enjoyable for me.

25.4 oz bottle. Dark brown with a few bubbles. Nose is dark chocolate, molasses, coffee, bourbon, vanilla and toasted nuts. Boozy, syrupy, medium to full body with a hot tang. Taste is dates, bourbon, chocolate liqueur, molasses, coffee and raisin finishing with a hint of hazelnuts. Very sweet. Luckily I have a few friends to help me finish this beast. 750ml bottle enjoyed @ home, 2015 vintage, thanks to...I forgot who I traded with, but thanks!
Pours very dark brown with a ruby tint, small beige head that quickly fades. Aroma is intense, lots of dark dried fruits like raisins, prunes, dates, plums, caramel, bourbon, oak, roasted malt, vanilla and chocolate. Flavour is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter.
Full bodied, thick and oily texture, soft to almost no carbonation. Finish is vinous and warming alcohol. Clearly a slow sipper. simont1 (614) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 17, 2016
Aroma of booze, chocolate, coconut, soy, caramel, oak, vanilla. Not near as much bourbon as the other Black Tuesday variants, and definitely the worst in aroma department. Taste is a bit sweeter, tannin, oak, vanilla, chocolate, heavy in your face brown sugar and kind-of hazelnutty, if you really want it to. A bit more cloying and less interesting than the other variants.
