Bottle... Cloudy, dark, caramel-colored ale with no head. The aroma is wonderfully funky and fruity, presenting tons of strawberry fun. Medium-bodied with busy carbonation. The sour, fruity flavor offers a faint salty component. Finishes crisp, sour, and then dry. Bottle courtesy of biggsbowler! alexsdad06 (10400) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 24, 2013
750 ml bottle shared by b3shine (jan ’13). Pours a cloudy orange amber color with a small white head. The aroma has a bunch of fresh strawberry, strawberry jam, tart juice, lactic sour notes, some funk and a strange plastic/latex character. The flavor has more tart strawberry, lactic sour, acidic, funk with only a hint of the plastic notes from the nose. Interesting, but needs a little cleaning up. fletchfighters (1528) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 14, 2013
Muddled strawberry brown color. Bright white head that drops to a thick collar.
Nose is odd. Big strawberry, raspberry, and wine notes with high acidity, but a whole lot of plastic as well. Hard to get over the plastic notes.
Taste is better. Ripe raspberries, strawberries and more like white wine than red.
High acid, very tart. Typical Bruery sour. Want to like it a lot but man the nose just kills this in a big way jrob21 (3688) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Pours a pretty entertaining looking reddish brown. Aroma leaves a little something to be desired and is a lot of earth and must and damp sweat. From afar though I just got a touch of the fruit and wild yeast though. Weird. Flavor is insanely tart and it takes some work to get through that. Once you do there is some nice fruit and sweet candy undertones. Glad to try it. Scopey (14723) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 24, 2013
Bottle, shared by Kenny at CBC. It pours milky brown with a quickly dissipating head. The nose is paint stripper, lighter fluid, acetone, must, earth, wood, bubblegum, strawberry and plastic. Not very nice, yet oddly addictive - like sniffing glue. The taste is tart lemon, sherbet, bruised strawberry, sour raspberry, earth, wood, high acidity, mouth-puckering tartness and citrus rind with a dry finish. Medium body and prickly carbonation. Not great if I’m honest......but I seemed to like it the most out of group!

Thanks to Jayce for sharing this bottle. As a disclaimer (since I hated this beer) I love beers from The Bruery and love sour beersmar (5415) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Pours an amber color with a white head. Unfortunately, this is where the good qualities of this beer end. The aroma is awful. At first it smells like cow manure, but that changes as it gets warmer. The bad thing is the change is not for the better. As it warms it smells exactly like Magic Bait Great Scott Liver and Cheese catfish stink bait. I am not kidding, I am pretty sure I could catch dinner if I soaked dough balls in this beer. Just disgusting.
The flavor is a bit better, but not without its drawbacks. As I drank this beer I had to pinch my nose so I couldn’t smell it. When I did that I got some light, tart strawberry notes as well as some toffee. Still, since I had to jump through these hoops to drink the beer, I can’t give it a high rating. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Just an awful beer in my opinion. Gross.
Murky amber with a cream head. Nose is acetate, faint strawberries, barn, super farmhouse. Easy palate, tart, acidic, bugs, yeast, wood, and easy finish. madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2013

Craft Clerkenwell Tasting. Cloudy light brown beer. Good pale cream coloured head. Smell pretty grim! Sweaty socks! Bleh! Palate is light and dry. Taste pretty much follows the nose but add dusty strawberry. Finishes dry. A stinker. As a Bruery advocate - I feel let down here!
This one is pretty bizarre. I like the aroma, the strawberries come through nicely although with a bit of plasticky phenol. Flavor is strawberry yogurt with a pervasive parmesan cheese note... Maybe as a slight accent that would be okay but it’s too forward to ignore. Theydon_Bois (19496) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2013
Bottle split at Craft Clerko, big thanks to Kenneth, 26/06/13.
Murky orange amber akin to the canal that runs through Kidsgrove, thin white head that makes the call to escape out of the glass via the edge.
Nose is pungent fruits, plastic, rotting pond life with a strawberry bobbing atop.
Taste comprises strawberry bubblegum, tarte berry fruits, blast of dirty funk, plastic, light throat scraping balsams, grassy notes, dank wood dragged through the pond.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, tarte finish.
Not a looker, doesn’t smell too good, tastes ok if somewhat a one trick pony - hmmm, not a revisit for this one, you might want to take a detour to avoid too long a trip on Ichigo Highway!!!
