On tap at The Bruery. Color of clear gold with a nice sized white head. Aroma of yeast, earth and something I liken to BO. Flavor was the same but with more banana, spice to go with the earthy and BO flavor. Flavors don’t blend to well for me; not a big fan of their hoppier beers thus far. angrypirate06 (1388) - Texas, USA - APR 24, 2009
Big ups to Sir Bman1113VR the Benevolent. Growler. Large foamy head, incredible for a week old growler! Clear gold color body. Aroma of hops, bananas. Flavor was pepper, hops, light yeast. Somewhat thin mouth. ilovedarkbeer (2741) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - APR 24, 2009
Thanks to BMan1113VR for sharing this cool ass looking growler with me. Pours a nice straw color with a big fluffy white head. Nose is banana, creme, and aged nobel hops and some citrus too. Taste is a bit skunky and grainy but also slightly fruity. Not bad, reminds me of westy blonde. BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - APR 23, 2009
Growler thanks to JohnC. Pours with a huge, rocky white head and great lace over a hazed golden yellow body. Aroma of bananas, spice, hops, their house Belgian yeast, citrus, vanilla and slightly bready. Taste is hoppy citrus, Belgian yeast, and graininess. Lively carbonation, dry mouthfeel. Medium gold pour. Hoppy belgian aroma. Flavor is similar, has a nice hoppy bite to it through all the belgian yeastiness. Pretty good.
On tap at the Bruery. Yellow/gold with more hoppiness than usual for the bruery. Tasty. kegbear (436) - Orange, California, USA - MAR 29, 2009
Tap at the Bruery. Golden yellow pour with generous white head. Aroma of bread, yeast and piney hops. Tastes the same with a great resinous hop dose. This is a really nice beer. Large amount of piney, resinous hops with no bitterness. Yum!
