Pizza Port Ocean Beach. Very pale straw-coloured pour with a thin white head. The nose is light and grassy with a distinct Saaz sort of noble hop character. Light lemon peel and a little bit of soft pine as well. Grassy Saaz finish. There is also a nice yeast contribution that gives the beer a touch of honey flavour to the malt. It’s light, well-attenuated and pretty quaffable. Very nice stuff actually. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - OCT 15, 2009
Draft. Amber beer with a whitish head. Grapefruit and light pine aroma. Nice piney flavor with light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - APR 3, 2011

Citrus hop aroma. Light golden coloured a little hazy in appearance hoppy floral and citrus flavoured with a hint of bitterness in a crisp and dry malt finish. blipp (9124) - La Mesa, California, USA - AUG 29, 2011
Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Spicy and grassy hoppy aroma. The flavor is crisp, with grassy, floral, and spicy hop notes, with a relatively clean pale malty base. Good stuff. czar (8996) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 8, 2014
on tap at black back, waterbury. unclear bright golden pour with a creamy and ffrothy whtie head offering excellent retention and strong lacing. bright citrus, whole cones, herbal-grassy nobleness, gentle pine, weed, very lightly toasted maltiness - specialty, lagering fruitiness surprisingly making its way through the massive fragrant hop bill - peaches, apricots, clementines. average carbonation, light body - oily, surprisingly dry and crisp citrusy-herbal-grassy finish. balanced and very tasty. my first non-BA or perhaps hoppy lower abv brew from the bruery - for the third time, i’m surprised if not flabbergasted. dangerous drinkability.

Nice hoppy nose with somewhat of a preserved malt base. Despite the lagering, the elements seem to work well in preservation here. Pours gold with ok head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness and a tough of sugary sweetness. Some booze evident. Tap at Boundary Road. laiti (8373) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 25, 2015
Draught @ the brewpub. Aroma is rather nice and fruity with pineapple juice and tropical fruits. Flavour has tropical fruits, pineapple juice and menthol. Finishes with mild harsh herbal bitterness. No signs of lager here - perhaps slight grainy tones. Delicious. bytemesis (8219) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAR 13, 2014

Flavor follows, light sweet and medium bitter, fruity, tropical, a bit dank. Pretty nice finish with lingering tropical bitterness. Medium body, oily mouthfeel jredmond (8201) - New York, New York, USA - APR 5, 2012
UPDATED: APR 6, 2012 Draft at barcade. Pours an amber body with no head, light white lacing. Aroma is fresh pine and grass hops. Mouthfeel is bitter and dry with notes of bitter citrus, pine, and finishes dry. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - MAR 12, 2013
Draft at sb. Pours a cloudy medium amber with a big rocky white head that towers over the top of the glass without leaking or dripping. Huge fresh pine and garlic nose, with heavy wet grass and bright piercing herbal notes showing. Very flashy and attention getting nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel and soft lemon on the mid palate. Hops are less prevalent on the tongue than the nose, but the grassy and herbal notes show well. Pleasant herbal finish. Really good stuff.
