Brewed with rice and finished with Sterling hops, this is another light, easy drinking beer. The rice lends a pleasant coconutty character, and overall the beer is crisp with mild herbal and citrus hop flavors.

On tap at the Bruery’s 2nd Anniversary party. Light yellow color. Easy to drink. Nice apricot hoppy aroma. Low bitterness. Very good.

Draught @ World of Beer, Seattle, WA

Pours clear yellowish orange with a smooth head. Aroma of sweet juicy hops, fruits, crisp malts and citrus. Taste is crisp hoppy, sweet and stuffy with some juicy fruitness and malts. Finish is sticky, sweetish and hoppy with some fruits and grass. Quite light bodied, but still quite sweet and sticky.

A: A pale golden/yellow color with a mild haze and a thin white head on top. S: The typical Belgian yeast esters from the Bruery in this one. A bit of spice and bready with just a touch of hops. T: A sweet and bready flavor initially with a subtle earthy hop bitterness. There is maybe a bit of a tartness to the beer as it warms in the glass. M: The body is certainly light on the tongue (at least in part due to the rice), with a full carbonation. D: Not my favorite of the Humulus series beers, but definitely one of the easiest to drink. A really nice, light, spring/summer beer.

Light gold pour at the brewery. White head. Grain, sweetness, fruit, rice, I’m getting a small amount of coconut. Light mouthfeel. I’m not a big fan of this.

Draft @ the bruery. Cotton candy and coconut on the nose. Pours bright gold with a very t hick head. Coconuts and tropical fruit flavors upfront with a dry crisp finish. Solid.

Draft. Pours a clear orange with a white head. Flavor is very herbal - sage, licorice, mint with some sweetness and hops. Did not care for it.

Tap at Paradiso Dupont. Pours a clear, bright yellow with a fluffy, poofy, white head that has good retention and lace. Mint and bubblegum in the nose. Taste is sweet, full of mint, licorice, sage. A little weird. Sticky palate. Was heavily disliked by a few people.

Sampled on tap at the Brewery (or is it the Bruery?) on 7/9/2010. This beer pours a lightly yellow gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, coconut, herbal and spicy. A light to medium bodied specialty grain beer. The malts are fruity and grainy. A touch of coconut, some herbal grains and a hint of rice ( but in a good way). Nice carbonation. Light and crisp. Good balance. A touch of citrusy fruitiness at the finish. Nice summer beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap at the Bruery. Rating #16. Another light colored drinker with a nice little white head. Aroma was light grains, mild hops. Flavor was much the same, not quite as good as the Filthy Blonde, but another nice little drinker. (1287)

BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUN 12, 2010
On tap at the Bruery. Pours with a hazed pale golden body and a large white head. Aroma is quite fruity, mango, coconut, tropical fruit, herbal hops. Very much like a hoppy american saison. Taste is dry and freuity, herbal and hoppy. Lovely hop profile and extremely drinkable. Lively bubbles and very dry mouthfeel. Good session beer.
