2013-08-17. Hazy red brown body is headless. Aroma is mild, with notes of lactic sourness, it is a bit muddled. Flavour is modestly sour with a lactic quality to it throughout, and it gets a touch sharp at times. Sour cherry like acidity. Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Bottle @ The Bruery. Pours cloudy orangish brown with thin head. Aroma is big tart sourness with a hint of fruitiness. Taste is clean brown malt, big citrusy sourness, and oaky dry finish. Unclear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, oxidide, tart - sour. wood, balsamico - vinegar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, tart sour, wood, caramel, berry. candy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
Bottle shared at my birthday drinks. It pours murky deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is malt vinegar, date, prune, lemon, oak, vanilla and toasted coconut. The taste is tangy fruit...cherry, date, raisin, grape, earth, moderate acidity, some alcohol, wood, balsamic vinegar and lemonade with a dry, tangy finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Bottle. Cheers to Paulo (I think) for supplying this. Deep red pour with a tiny off-white head. The nose is somewhat harsh. Musty red grape skin, mild balsamic vinegar. Sweet ribbon candy. A bit rough n’ ready. The taste is delicate orchard fruit. Apricots. Acetic funk. Grape skin. A touch of rough acid. Soft carbonation, light body considering the ABV. Overall, fairly solid.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell during Paul’s Birthday Celebration - London. Thanks to the birthday boy for this one. Pours murky amber with a light, off-white foam head. Nose holds lots of ripe, sweet and leathery fruits, wet wood, balsamic vinegar. Light sweet flavor, quite acetic and sour, more wet wood, mild bitter earth, semi-dry berries. Notes of plums, apples, berries, grapes, oak, caramel, brown sugar, oaky funk, and balsamic. Medium-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a funky, fruity mouthfeel. Some mellow spice, as well. Hazy reddish/brown with a two-finger-wide off-white head. Fruit comes through the most on the nose with hints of cherries, ripe dates, oak chips, and vinegar. Bottle tasted at Oxford Tasting Nov 2012. Pours a cloudy red orange with a small white head. Aroma of a fine balsamic vinegar, with red wine and oak. Light sourness on the flavor, oak, dark fruit, and caramel. Finishes nicely tart.
