Bottle tasted at Oxford Tasting Nov 2012. Pours a cloudy red orange with a small white head. Aroma of a fine balsamic vinegar, with red wine and oak. Light sourness on the flavor, oak, dark fruit, and caramel. Finishes nicely tart. kbutler1 (1382) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 31, 2011
Bottle. Sampled a couple times at the Anniversary party. Poured a cloudy, chunky, murky, copper color with a slight tan head. Not the most appealing looking in a beer. At first I thought I just got the bottom of the bottle but I had it again and got the same type of pour. The aroma is caramel sweetness, slight nuttiness, vanilla, cherry, and lemon. Aroma also has sour notes. The taste is decent with some slight brett florals, lemon, cherry, nut, oak, vanilla, and ends slightly dry. Light mouthfeel. Overall, I wanted more out of this and having had this with The Wandered, Bottlewerks 12, and several other stellar beers, this one didn’t stand out to me. pentaz (1264) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 17, 2013
Bottle. Pours opaque orange/brown with minimal head. Aroma is aged vinegar, leather, oak, caramel, dark fruit, toffee, fatty and funky fruit. Taste is medium sweet and sour. Body is medium, texture is light oily, carbonation is soft. Finishes light astringent, funky and sour.

1000th rating FINALLY! Poured from bottle at Reserve Society 2012 event at Phoenix Club. Poured a reddish murky color with a tan head. Aroma was dark fruits and vinegar notes. Taste was more oak than I remember in Marron Acidifie, but seemed a bit sweeter due to the dates and guava added. Really solid sour. knickskicks (1168) - - APR 13, 2014
Red pour. Nose is typical lactic Bruery nose, some sour cherries, guava. Taste is sour cherries, guava, actually do get some dates, a touch of bitterness to offset the sweet and sour.

Pours amber brown with a small white head. Nose is vinegar, grapes, apples, lemons, brown sugar and spice. Taste is sweet mostly with some bitterness hints and some very earthy tartness on the end. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean, light body and a long finish. MatSciGuy (924) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 10, 2011
[Bottle] pours hazy rusty brown with a small dissipating head. Aroma is red fruit, moderate acetic, light oak, a bit of sweet malt, caramel. Flavor is lightly sour, a touch oily, moderate carbonation, light lactic, a touch sweet, but something just a little off. It just doesn’t taste ’clean’ if that makes sense. Pours cloudy maroon. Some particles. Aroma: nuts, dates, malt. Taste: lactic acidity, malty sweetness. Some warming alcohol at the end. nightrider (754) - encinitas, California, USA - JUN 4, 2011
Pour from the bottle. Brown burgundy in color with slight transparency. Tart fruity aromas with maybe a touch of guava. Medium bodied and smooth on your mouth. Flavors were of cherry, apple, and plum but nothing too long lasting though. Not bad but was expecting a bit more. Prefer Marron to be honest.
