Notes of plums, apples, berries, grapes, oak, caramel, brown sugar, oaky funk, and balsamic. Medium-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a funky, fruity mouthfeel. Some mellow spice, as well. Bottle shared at my birthday drinks. It pours murky deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is malt vinegar, date, prune, lemon, oak, vanilla and toasted coconut. The taste is tangy fruit...cherry, date, raisin, grape, earth, moderate acidity, some alcohol, wood, balsamic vinegar and lemonade with a dry, tangy finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Bottle @ The Bruery. Pours cloudy orangish brown with thin head. Aroma is big tart sourness with a hint of fruitiness. Taste is clean brown malt, big citrusy sourness, and oaky dry finish. Thanks to Redlight for cracking this bottle (or, i should say, gushing as it spewed all over the place). Pours a deep brown and really chunky. Very floral hop aroma, lots of tart sour fruit in the aroma. Taste is smooth malt, slightly tart, fruity guava and a tart of oak. Finishes with a touch of tartness.

Sample from bottle at the anniversary party. Hazy reddish amber pour, with light tannish head. Predominately fruit flavor, Guava, cherry, berries, light notes of date, oak, vinegar, lemon, and acidic sourness. Sweeter then the marron. Pour from the bottle. Brown burgundy in color with slight transparency. Tart fruity aromas with maybe a touch of guava. Medium bodied and smooth on your mouth. Flavors were of cherry, apple, and plum but nothing too long lasting though. Not bad but was expecting a bit more. 750ml bottle from the Bruery. Hazy dark amber in color with a small off-white head. Nice aroma with some good sour fruits and leather. Fairly acetic. The flavor is pretty good, like a maltier variation of Oude Tart. Some figs and exotic fruit notes, leather, oak, guava, vinegar, and tart wild yeast notes. Pours hazy reddish brown with little to no head, aroma has notes of sour cherry, lemon, with some notes of fruit, slight wood and nutty notes. 750ml bottle. Pours an amber color with smallish tan head, which soon gives way to a ring. Aroma is dark fruit up front, with honey and vinegar. Also some funk going on. Taste is slightly tart, but smooth with dark fruit (raisins), and candy sugar. Finish is bitter, tart and refreshing.
