750ml bottle, big thanks to Mike B. for sharing at Jay A.’s party. Dark red, slightly brown color. Mostly hazy. Thin off-white slightly khaki head. Few dots of lace. Awesome big dark fruit, chewy, wood, and acidic. Great moderate to bigger sour taste, moderate sweet. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Kind of slick texture. Fantastic, awesome woody mildly spicy flavor profile to this.

This is a pretty nice one. It pours a reddish-brown. It has a nice sour flavor. Fruity, tart, and woody. Overall, good stuff.

"and here i thought the night would go downhill after the awesomeness that was Friek. they nailed this one across the board. wonderful aroma of oak, funk, and some fruit that at first you think is cherry but has a more tropical smell and taste to it. in the flavor there’s oak, fruit, substantial funk (though not nearly as sour as Friek) and some leather, which i just loved. lasting impression. will seek out again."

Wow, this was worth the wait... Aged 3 years in the bottle... Aroma of leather, vinous notes, oak, and cranberries... Flavor is amazingly complex, muted tartness, likely from the aging, red wine, bourbon, cranberries, brown malts, vinegar.... Delicious ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle via JohnGalt1, thank you sir! Dark garnet in color with a thin beige head that quickly fades. Nose of sours, vinegar, and woody. Lightly vinous. Translates well into the flavor with the wood adding a subtle dry character. Some deep vinous notes and balanced vinegar flavors. Good sour.

Bottle from trade recently. Shared with friends at the Pig. Awesome brownish-amber pour with a thin white head. Snifters. Aroma of cherries, blackberries, black raspberries, slight vinegar, wood barrel, and malts. The taste was very complex especially as it warmed. Cherries, blackberries, black raspberries were the backbone of the tartness. You also get the leather, wood barrel, roasted malts, and vinegar notes but it balanced very well. Medium light body, moderate carbonation, serious tart and fruity finish. REALLY enjoyed this one from the Bruery and CCB.
