July 2016 - Bottle share at Craft Beer Co Islington as ’The Bruery Melange #8’. Many thanks to Kenny for this 14.5% beast. Dark brown, hazy, foamy tan head. Aroma is toffee and cola, caramelised sugars. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste has more cola, resinous pine, toffee, creamy coffee, vanilla. Works pretty well. Tasty stuff. One of those rare occasions where I feel a Bruery beer is balanced and drinkable. (3.8) Leighton (21085) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2016
Bottle shared at Craft Beer Co Islington - London. Many thanks to Kenny! Pours mostly clear ruby with a foamy, tan head. Great snout, rich, with ripe berries, bread, toffee. Big sweet flavour with chewy semi-dark fruits, more toffee, fig, dates, light alcohol. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with further hearty, ripening fruits, lots of dates and figs, more toffee. Excellent sipper. Great depth, rounded edges, high drinkability for the strength. Really fun to drink.
