Murky golden colored beer with a frothy, white head. Aromas of spices and bananas were quite dominant. Tastes of Belgian candy sugars, lemon zest, bananas, apricots, assorted spices, and some wheat notes. Quite fruity, sugary sweet. Very effervescent. The spices add some interesting flavors to this beer and compliment the sugary flavors quite nicely. Sour, yet sweet, and dry finish. Smooth and quite tasty.

[email protected] Hazy yellow with dissipating head. Smells like marigolds and cat pee. Tastes sour and cleanly bitter. Very clean.

Draft at Barcade. Smells nice, some almost tropical hop on the nose. Hazy in colour, Classic Belgian characteristics but with a bolder hop profile, light mouth feel. Very nice

5/IV/2012 - 75cl bottle from De Hopduvel @ Klaas’ place - BB: n/a (2012-333) Thanks to Klaas for sharing the beer!

Little cloudy blond beer, some small chunks floating around, big creamy yellowish head, stable, little adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, peaches, citrus, some pineapple, lychee, bit sweet sugary touch. MF: lots of carbon, medium to full body. Taste: fruity start, citrus peel, some pineapple, bit of grapefruit, little sweet, citric hops. Aftertaste: little citric, tropical fruits, pineapple, bit yeasty, little sour.

Pours a beautiful light hazy golden with a huge frothy white head. The aroma is hoppy, citrus, lemon, and spicy yeast. The taste is hoppy, dry, citrus, and lemons with a nice dry bitter finish. Another winner from The Bruery.

Bottle from half time, shared with wife. Pours hazy golden hue capped by an ever active white foam head. Nose is effervescent with flowers, faint citrus, and light clove. Flowers are more dominate in the mouth supported by light cracker and biscuit malt. Medium belgian mouth feel. Glad my wife pulled this one off the shelf.

Nose is lemon, lemongrass, very light malt, chouffe yeast character. Flavor follows with a great solid bitterness. A bit of a twang in the finish.

Poured a hazy golden yellow with a big, fluffy two finger head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, yeast, slight esther, and funk. Smells pretty damn good. Taste is light herbal, yeast, light banana and citrus, with a nice spicy bite on the finish. Very crisp and refreshing, high carbonation and a medium body. Reminds me of a Belgian tripel, but a little hopped up, pretty tasty stuff.

A - Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange color with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down at a fairly slow pace leaving behind some lace. S - Aroma is a mix of Belgian yeast, citrus, floral smells, clove, and a bit of funk. There is also a bit of grass and farmhouse mixed in. T - Starts off with some lemon, citrus hops, and a touch of tartness and grass. Through the middle, some Belgian yeast and a a bit of funk comes through alongside some clove and some floral flavors. The finish is a mix of lemon, citrus hops, Belgian yeast, and some funk. M - Medium bodied with heavy carbonation. Feels smooth with a tart, sweet, and slightly dry finish. D - Very drinkable. Really nice American inspired BSPA. The extra bit of hops really balances nicely with the more traditional Belgian flavors.

3/16/12 - A little too fruity for my taste, hints of apple and citrus. MK felt the same way ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
