UPDATED: JUN 7, 2012 Hazy pale golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of kumquats, light toast, bit of toffee, and faint bacterias. Taste of sweeter kumquats, toast, lightly tart, and a dry finish. A killer session. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 8, 2012
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2012 On tap at Provisions (full pint finally). Pours with a hazed yellow body with a medium sized white head. Aromas are fruity, floral, grainy, mild acidity, zesty, wheat and kumquats. Seems like their is still some lactic acid in the nose in addition to the citric kumquats. Medium esters. Flavors are medium tart, floral, zesty and fruit. Tartness lingers a bit on the palate and makes this beer very thirst quenching. Lively bubbles with a dry, not too thin finish. Very drinkable, insanely characterful for a 2% beer, and very enjoyable. nickd717 (4822) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUN 9, 2012
I’ve had this many times since and felt I should bump up the score. Killer session beer, insanely drinkable and characterful!
Draft. Hazy golden-orange color with a large foamy white head. Nice fruity aroma, big, wheaty, and tart with kumquats at the forefront. The flavor is nice and tart with a prominent kumquat note, lemon, and wheat. Great crisp and light palate with lively carbonation. Even better than the regular Berliner weisse. m4rest88 (390) - Beverly Hills, California, USA - JUN 28, 2012

Thanks to drabmuh for sharing the growler. Served in a Bruery tulip. Cloudy straw. Nice lemon notes. Bit of acidity. Some cracker. Basically tastes like a lemon bar. Light body. A bit dry. Tasty.

Tap at The Bruery. A light bodied wheat beer with distinct kumquat flavor. Tastes of bread, yeast, orange zest. Very refreshing. dreadnord (1012) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 5, 2013
The pour is hazy golden yellow with a small head that dissolves fast. The nose is lemony tart but missing the lacto, big straw and some apple. The taste is ultra clean and crisp, fresh, body is light and finish is medium.
