750 ml bottle shared with the Quebec City crew. Pours a murky ruby reddish brown with a nice beige head. Aroma is tart, vinegar, caramel, sweet. Flavor is grapes, fruits, sweet, woody. Finish is vanilla, wood, tartness and grapes. Lingering tartness and acetic acid. Medium body, weak carbonation. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 21, 2014
Bottle... Poured murky, deep brown with a mild forming off-white head. Aroma of lactic acid and tartness with mild barrel notes. Dry, sour, some charred grains and darker malts with a lively sourness and fruit character. Focuses and contained as far as the acidity. Complex and balanced. Nice drinking sour beer. craftycarl21 (2338) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 19, 2014
Huge thanks to Brett for sharing this bottle! Opaque, turbid red-orange pour with a decent off-white head. Nose and flavor hold unripe strawberry, guava, big balsamic and red wine vinegar, grape must, vin cotto, acetic acid, and hints of vanilla. The acidity works in this beer, but more fruit and less heaviness would have made it better. Still, a pleasure. czar (9092) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 22, 2014
pours hazy light brown-red with a small light beige head, some retention and lacing. vinous and fruity character - cherries, red grapes’ skin, other red fruitiness, lemon hints, layers of caramel and fruity-nutty maltiness, pinch of dirt, bit of sweetness balanced by a citric/lactic/acetic blend. moderate carbonation, light to medium body - oily, gently tart and grassy-spicy finish. nice fruity sour. enjoyed! mathieuc (3996) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 20, 2014
Pours a nice dark reddish-brown topped by a small oftwhite ring that offers some light lacing. Aroma of red fruits and light vinegar. Taste is fruity and really tart. Tartness hinders my capability to clearly identify any fruits. Body is light to medium. Nice and not too harsh but still a little unbalanced.

Bottle (750 ml). From Tom, thanks! Dark copper with reddish reflects, a medium beige head and little lacing. Aroma is of red fruits, wood, acetic notes and caramel. Taste is about the same with the sourness being more present. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Slightly dry finish. A tad too acetic, but complex and fairly drinkable. Good! Pours burgundy/mahogany with low beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma is of red fruits, berries, sourness. Taste is of red fruits, cherries. Palate: Medium body. Overall: Pretty good. Fruity, sour. A tad too acid. Not really complex beyond the fruits. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 1, 2014

Unclear matt medium amber orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy tart berry, wood, spicy, guava, vinegar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, vinegar, tropical fruit, tart, sour. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat.
Thanks Brian and Athena
Brown with blood rose tones. Smells like lemon, guava (turns out it has it in the beer), light vinegar. Tart, quite tart and some cherries, some lemon and a little white vinegar. Thin with cloying character and dry finish. Nice beer.
