Black pour with a thin off white head and fizzy .... aroma of dark fruits, molasses, roasted malts, chocolate, dry oak and bourbon ..... taste is of chocolate, roasted malts, dark fruit, molasses, bourbon, dry oak and some spicy booze..... amazing this is 19.8% ... even warming you wouldn't know it, but having said that the title of the beer is PB & Thursday ... kind of strays from its purpose ..... body is thick and oily ... finish is bitter and of dark fruits, molasses and dry oak/bourbon Thisis12ptfont (1255) - Los Angeles, CA, California, USA - FEB 4, 2018
Aromas of peanuts, chocolate, toffee, oak, bourbon, barrel wood, charred malts, leather, peanut butter, raisins, plums, alcohol sugars. figs, dates, prunes, apricots, port wine, toasted bread, roasted barley and red wine. Pours pitch black with no foam and tiny carbonation bubbles rising all around. Taste brings strong peanut, peanut flour, cocoa nibs, chocolate, toffee, charred malts, campfire ash, raisins, figs, dates and prunes upfront. Mid palate gives way to immense bourbon, barrel wood, oak, vanilla, leather, corn syrup, alcohol sugars and more chocolate. Finishes dry with roasted barley, roasted malts, peanut butter, peanut flour, chocolate and dark fruits. Overall, a fantastic beer with unique peanut flavorings and truly assertive characteristics. ryanfolty (2667) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - JAN 6, 2018
January 6, 2018 - bottle from my membership. Dark brown pour with some head that faded quickly. Aroma was strong bourbon with some peanut and berry. Taste was like the aroma, too much bourbon and not enough of the PB&J. AirForceHops (8416) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 31, 2017
750 ml bottle, bottled July 2016. Deep brown color, Fast dying head. Aroma is vanilla and bourbon. This is all hot bourbon. The alcohol is so hot it nearly burns the throat on the way down. Almost like a watered down bourbon. Hot as all hell. I paid $39.99 for this??? Where is the peanut butter or stout character?

Bottle courtesy of Darrell.. Boozy AF. Sweet and warm, hints of the namesake PB, but tons of sugary sweetness. Tasty, in the right circumstances. BuckeyeBoy (9492) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 4, 2017

backlog PAKK 2017 - Suszone owoce, trochę czekolady i kawy, alkoholowość atakuje bezlitośnie w smaku, irytujący spirol, piwo zbliżone mocno stylowo do quada i trochę Old Ale. Alkohol przytłacza i psuje doznania sensoryczne. 77ships (11904) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 14, 2017
Obtained in a trade with AdamChandler. Split with Kraddel actually on a Tuesday do close enough in a way? 750 ml. bottle. 2016 Vintage. Pours very dark brown, dark brown clearly on the edges, not black actually it seems oddly, thin layer of dark brown bubbles almost instantly gone, no head. Nose is alcoholic, smells very alcoholic, totally syrupy pure molasses sugar syrup low bourbon massive molasses syrup nose. It tastes alcoholic but not extremely so, it sure as hell feels that way the near 20 % ABV hits you upon the first sip, pure molasses, syrup, thick, very similar if not basically identical to the base beer because you get literally zero peanuts or peanut butter which is a total letdown, instead thick molasses, faint liquorice very alcoholic syrup, nail polish, thick syrup little carbonation, you feel the head, some bourbon. Pure alcoholic syrup, objectively a bad beer but subjectively quite a lot of fun. This is just Black Thursday. kraddel (9679) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - SEP 12, 2017
Bottle thnx to 77Ships. Shared by the 2 of us. Well, that's it. Goodbye now, liver ! It was nice havin' you. Welcome diabetus !!!
Pours dark brown, but not black. Still a bit see trough. not nearly as thick as other variants of this awesome, liverpunishing beer. Smell is black malts, bit boozy, some sweetness from the bourbon. Taste is full, creamy and thick nevertheless ( despite the thin looks ) Boozy, as to be expected, bourbon. Peanut butter is very hidden. very very heavy stout. bit too boozy for it's own good. Still nice though. As a fan of this beer's base, I might be in the advantage for this one. As seen in previous ratings, it's not for everyone.
