Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Dry and chalky chocolate in the aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor, with dry roast, burnt wood and baking cocoa. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation and creamy texture. Light gooey chocolate in the finish, with hints of raisins, roast, dirt. Solid stuff. Tap at The Bruery thanks to BMan1113VR! Pours deep, clear ruby looking black. Nose is savory, hazelnut, big dark chocolate. Taste is dense, heavy waxy dark chocolate brick, powerfully bitter. Palate is mildly acidic, very hoppy, huge chocolate brick density. Feels like 8-9% in density but no booze or sugar to detract. Impressive, boss baltic porter.
