Bottle thanks to Stavros. Pours a cloudy orange with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong citrus, oak, must. Medium mouth, grass, oak, boozy finish, did not hold up well. Blairgus (4529) - California, USA - MAR 13, 2015
13 Mar 2015, tap at the Bruery. dirty yellow. nose is interesting. apricot, perhaps faintest of oak. med body and faintly fizzy. tastes odd. like mealy apples, apricot juice, light bready malt. unusual. slowrunner77 (11911) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 30, 2014
"what a nice change of pace this was. sweet leaning, with the oaking evident in flavor and aroma, adding an additional layer of complexity to an already complex brew. bready malts, wood, delicate hops. lively mouthfeel, making a lasting impression. I’d definitely get this again if i saw it."

750-ml bottle. Very floral, herbal aroma with a hint of lavender and yeasty lemon zest. Pours a slightly murky light orange with a fizzy head (very effervescent). Extremely fruity and floral taste with light lime, sugary lemon peel, caramel, some potpourri, wet oak, zesty Belgian yeast tones, and cedar chips. Prickly, carbonated mouthfeel at first before a smooth, refined finish.

A golden, cloudy, , thick beer. Tastes better than it looks and smells. No complaints here. TizzleJizzle (791) - Garland, Texas, USA - JUN 27, 2013
Bottle courtesy of EricAndersNavy. Poured a gold color with a thin white top. Taste of caramel, oak and grass. NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Bottle from Kan/Drew. Thanks! Pours a deep gold with awhite head. Lightly hazy. Nose is hoppy and grassy. Barrel is subdued overall, though noted vanilla here. Faint tart notes come through as well. On tasting, medium bitternss, rich malty notes and sweet with a dry finish. It’s basically a big ass blond doppelbock on wood. Curious, to say the least. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Bottle... Poured golden with a nice forming head. An unassuming Maibock that hit the spot. Earthy, low bitterness, some bready malt sweetness and wood undertones. The oak almost lent to an herbal ceder-like character. Pretty nice. Paired well with our meal.
