On-tap at the Bruery
A: The pour is a fairly clear golden orange color with a large white head.
S: Smells of yeast and bread for the most part. Not a terribly complex nose, even with the barrel aging. Some oak and vanilla are there, but that is just about it.
T: A moderate level of sweetness with most of it coming from bready malts. Plenty of oak flavor and some sweetness coming from vanilla as well. Somewhat bitter, at least moreso than expected.
M: Medium in body with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Not really great in any way. I wasn’t too crazy about this one. djd07 (15543) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUN 16, 2016
