750 ml bottle
This is an interesting take on a sweet stout. The flavors of pumpkin, allspice and some roastiness make this a unique tasty beer. nightrider (754) - encinitas, California, USA - JAN 2, 2012
Pour from the bottle revealed a dark beer with a solid tan head. Pronounced cedar aroma off the nose. Medium body. Roasted malt and some additional spices possibly cinnamon and clove. Pumpkin kind of faint in the background. Finish is on the drier side. Not too long of flavor retention. Not too bad. Suttree (6504) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - DEC 31, 2011
Black, frothy beige head. Smells like sweet cinnamon and allspice. Flavor is not very stouty, for lack of a better word. Lots of sweet spice and a significant amount of lactic sourness. Maybe a it of coffee, as well. Thanks to grownfool for this one! ADfan (877) - Orange County, California, USA - DEC 30, 2011
On tap at The Bruery. It pours a dark amber color with a medium sized head. It has a unique aroma to it. Sweetness with dark fruits and a cola quality to it. Taste is unique. Doesn’t have the usual flavor but a licorice and floral taste. Mild hoppiness to it. bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - DEC 27, 2011

750ml bottle. Black in color with a large tan head that expands, overflowing the glass and making your wife upset that you got a mess on the nice coffee table (watch out). Roasty aroma with assertive pumpkin and spices. The flavor is nice, roasty, with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, pumpkin, roast, and cocoa. Medium-plus bodied and smooth with average carbonation. Good stuff. phaleslu (10652) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 21, 2011
750 ml bottle from dcschiller- thanks, Dave! Pours a deep, dark brown with a finger of tan head that lasts for quite a while. Big spice in the aroma, with notes of nutmeg, soy, cinnamon, roasted pumpkin, brown sugar, molasses, and berries. Flavor has the same spice profile, along with roasted pumpkin, earth, soy, cola, and nuts. Faint fruit acidity. Something hard to place. When bsuedekum brought it to my attention, he was spot on: barbecue sauce. Very odd slate of flavors but I found myself liking it quite a bit. Medium-bodied, with a spicy, savory mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Unusual but definitely worth trying. Drake (14078) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 20, 2011
Bottle shared by Bankhead. Thanks! Pours a dark brown color with a thin head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big spicy notes including cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg, wood and pumpkin in the finish. The taste is spices, pumpkin, roast, milky note and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Dogbrick (13762) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 18, 2011
Sample at Bruery Provisions. This beer is a brownish-black color with a medium foamy tan head that recedes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of pumpkin spices and malt. Medium body with a strong pumpkin character along with notes of toasted malt and wood. The finish is sweetly spiced with a pumpkin aftertaste. Above average overall. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - DEC 17, 2011
750ml bottle thanks to Luckyhank. pours black with a big 4 finger tan frothy head - which settles down to a nice 1/4" >... light spice nose with cedar coming through and sweet chocolate. med to full body - soft throughout with nice warming spices, chocolate, coffee, cedar and light pumpkin. bright finish with cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin, chocolate and coffee notes. very enjoyable beer!
