Bottle shared by drabmuh at a local tasting. Thanks Matt!
A: Dark brown in color, with a healthy, beige head. The appearance is the best aspect of this beer.
S: Extremely spicy, herbal, vegetal. Whoa!
T: Over the top. While I appreciate the extreme nature of this beer, as well as pushing the limits of brewing and what a beer can be, this is just hard to drink. It’s incredibly spicy and vegetal, with an odd assortment of garden herbs present throughout the aroma and flavor.
M: Medium body with fairly low carbonation. Again, this is an oddity.
D: A pleasure to sample. I commend Patrick Rue and The Bruery for pushing the limits of craft brewing and embracing creativity. However, that doesn’t mean I can, or would want to drink more than a couple ounces of this.

750 ml bottle courtesy of CaptainCougar, thank you sir - and thanks for hosting! Aroma of formaldehyde. Taste is cardboard and wet socks. Mouthfeel is foamy. This is just wrong. Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUL 31, 2014
Sampled at 2011 RBWG. Dark brown pour with thin tan head. The nose is spice, ginger and lime. Taste is pretty much the same. Medium mouth feel. Plovmand (8266) - Helsinge, DENMARK - MAR 23, 2014
Bottle at home. Thx dfclav. It's a beauty. Pitch black with a dense creamy brown head. Roasted spicy herbal aroma. Notes of berries, lime, ginger and rose hips. The flavor is very flowery with notes of berries, lemongrass, light soap, light ginger, light roast and some licorice. Awesome brew! Thanks Mike!!

Overall, Where’s the Brett??? This had a nice toasty, mild smokey flavor but that is about it.

750 ml bottle sample. Pours brown with a large fluffy tan head. The aroma and flavor had some sweet malts, herbal and a strange spiciness, some roasted notes, citrus, with very light Brett character. Worth trying once, but it was not one of the favorites of the evening. fonefan (48669) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JUN 28, 2013
