3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This gets high marks for uniqueness. From a brewing standpoint, it seemed to be all specialty grain with a base not being very prevalent. Bready aroma and soft. Nice deep brown color with a medium head. Medium weight palate that was a little watery. Carbonation was not heavy. More maltiness that had a nut-bread character. The rye spiciness was there with a low hops presence. Got better as it warmed up.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. No idea of how old this was as there was no date code. Anyhow:
Dark brown with a dense beige head.
Aroma is sweet with canned fruit, spices and chocolate.
Taste is sweet caramely, metallic, peppery (rye I guess) and with some chocolate.
Medium body, high carbonation, round mouth feel.
Metallic bitter after taste.
