Dark yellow with small white head. Aroma of pumpkin pie spices. Flavor of pineapple, apple, malt and ginger, clove and nutmeg spice and slight rum and alcohol Reminds me of a ginger bread cookie.
Draft at Ginger Man with Streets and Chris. Pours a deep murky brown body with thin off white lacing. Aroma is vanilla, spice, cinnamon, clove, bourbon and oak. Mouthfeel is medium to full with rich spicy vanilla notes, cinnamon, bourbon, oak, light maple and rich molasses. Similar to many of the other high alcohol Bruery beers sampled that night; worth noting that this is way better than the regular Golden Rings. dreadnord (1012) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 8, 2013
Pours hazy and murky golden brown with no head. Nose is vanilla, cloves, cinnamon, dark fruits like peaches, apricots and plums. Taste is sweet with a good bitter bite at the end. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, body is heavy and finish is long. brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - NOV 29, 2012
A hazed golden orange pour with almost no head. Very strong and sweet pineapple and sugar aroma. A bit of maple syrup, lots of ginger, spice, and some alcohol. Mild oak, sweet potatoes, and vanilla. The flavor is intensely sweet, but very enjoyable. Nice sweet potato character, pineapple, ginger, and some other less pronounced spices. Wood, vanilla, light rum, and some alcohol. Really enjoyed this one.
