On tap at the Bruery’s 2nd Anniversary party. Yellow color. Dry saison character. Medium to low bitterness. Frothy head. Dry and seems low in flavor, because of lack of sweetness. Pretty easy to drink.
28 Oct 2016, tap at Bruery. bright, light yellow, clear, some steady bubbles. nose is spiced, lemon must, saison yeast. thin body and moderately fizzy. saison, faintly spicy, some lemon. nice. slowrunner77 (12466) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 3, 2014
"on tap at St James Infirmary - pours a hazy golden/amber in color. aroma of some dry fruity yeasts, a touch of rye. flavor is nice, especially as it warms, but i’ve liked a few multiple grain lagers as much as this one. the grains are showcased, and the "saison" part of the beer, while there, is overshadowed and understated." Draft. Awesome color. Huge fluffy head. Takes a long time to go away. Good easy drinking yeasty saison

On tap at Whole Foods. Pale blond color with moderate white head. Bread, clover, coriander, pepper. Pretty light bodied. Fairly sweet. A little bit light for me but a decent enough beer.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2011 Poured into a 25cl glass from a draft at KnB Wine Cellar’s in San Diego, Calif. Color was murky, dark yellow. About ½-inch of head. Slight lacing on the top.
Smells were wheat, grains and earth. Fairly flavorful. Some citrus and grapefruit in there as well.
Lots of flavors that worked off the tongue. First taste was a buttery, fruity taste. It then gradually went to more of an apple finish.
Somewhat refreshing, but still had the butter taste which was a bit much. More on the high carbonation side.
I was a bit disappointed after trying some good Saisons the last month or so. I probably wouldn’t get this again. Snojerk321 (2960) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 15, 2011
Tap at the Local Habit. Golden yellow with medium white head into tulip glass. Aroma of yeast, spices, and a hint of lemon. Mouth feel is very smooth with moderate carbo. Taste of spices up front and finishes with a yeast taste. Great beer. gsmitty80 (2130) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 9, 2011
Poured a cloudy yellow with two finger white froathy head. The taste was very grassy and hard to pick out an individual grain. I thought it was very nicely done and the other folks i was with thought it was a great summer beer. jcwattsrugger (12507) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 25, 2011
on tap @Ole Bridge Bar Reno-pours a big tight foamy white head and gold color. Aroma is floral, yeast, light malt. Taste is floral/some lemon hops, yeast, light malt. jrob21 (3760) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 18, 2011
On draft at the brickstore. Corn dominated aroma. Pour is a deep orange with a growing sculptural white head. Flavor is mostly rye smoothed out by a little oat and barley to give you some body. The grains dominate an otherwise spicey and fruity drink. An interesting take on an interesting style.
