Poured from bottle thanks Willrunforbeer coffee color pour with a nice mocha head. Aromas of sweet cold brewed coffe vanilla. Taste is nice full flavored coffee and then the booze hits you.

750ML split 6 ways at fridge temp. reddish brown to black. Smells fantastic. Super acidic and sweet roasted cold brew coffee with a bit of espresso. loads of coffee. that pretty much is all I taste. It’s sweet, bitter, bright and creamy. mouthfeel is thin, booze is absolutely in your face not hiding at all with a little pancake syrup at the finish

Pours a ruby to need dark brown/black. Initial aroma is nutty and fruity coffee, taste is slightly bitter but mostly sweet. Maybe some chicory too. The stout roastiness is pretty well covered up by the intensity of the coffee. Super super smooth for 12%.

750ml bottle pours a dark brown color with a bit of head. Nice coffee flavor that lingers. Rich maltiness.

Bottle. Poured hazy dark brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted coffee sweet flavor with a medium to heavy complex sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met.

On tap @ City Beer. Not quite black with a nice finger or so of khaki/off-white foam. Starts off with some nice milk chocolate and roasted malt notes and certainly an enormous amount of coffee. Sort of creamy and a bit of a vanilla note to it. Kind of a hot, boozy finish, but the coffee flavor really shines through, as do bitter dark chocolate and molasses. Certainly an intense beer, but pretty nice.

tennisjoel (1465) - Rochester, Minnesota, USA - JUL 13, 2016
Jet black body with a tan head. Aromas of coffee, vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, light smoke, lactose, and booze. Flavor is very good and smoother palate than expected based on the alcohol detected in the nose. Similar to speedway. Just a little rougher around the edges. Still well executed.

wombat23 (1506) - Texas, USA - JUL 13, 2016
Draft at the source on 6/26/2016. Dark brown with a beige head. Intense coffee aroma. Taste is heavy coffee and dark malts with hints of chocolate. Very roasty. Perhaps a little too much coffee.

750ml capped bottle pours black in color with 2 fingers of light brown head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is coffee and chocolate with some hints of vanilla and alcohol. Taste is a roasted grain and coffee bitterness with a chocolate malty sweetness finishing with vanilla and alcohol. Full bodied with moderate carbonation. A nicely crafted brew that is full flavored and well balanced. Recommended for those who can appreciate a good coffee.

Bottle. Aroma is dark chocolate and earthy coffee. Tastes like intense, bitter coffee but not too roasty. Very earth. Nice dark chocolate undertones with some caramel and a little char. Very good.
