Pours black with brown head. Has a coffee and strong dark fruit malt and bitter chocolate aroma. A strong bitter chocolate taste with coffee and roasted malts. A bitter dark chocolate and roasted malt aftertaste.

The color is of course coffee black, light brown head, the smell will wake you up! Folders in the glass is the best way to explain the smell. This is by far the most coffee front stout on the market! No question. The drink is smooth, after the swallow there is a hint of bitter chocolate, but this is perfect blend of coffee and sweetness. Great beer!

Tap into a snifter showing pitch black with a finger of latte colored foam. The nose shows coffee, light notes of dark chocolate, and barely any roasted malts. Very nice coffee forwardness. The palate is well carbonated and full bodied. Light alcohol spice with flavors of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, with a light coffee and hoppy bitterness on the finish. I wouldve preferred more of an espresso or dark chocolate bitterness but its still pretty solid.

Bottle thanks to William. Pours a very dark brown with beige head that lasts. The aroma is milk chocolate and roast. Thick mouth, chewy, roast, cocoa, boozy finish, very nice.

Black pour, tan head, decent lace/retention. Aroma is *big* coffee with notes of roast, chocolate, lesser notes of darker fruit. Full bodied, moderate alcohol, coffee flavor dominates. Really great aroma, but it goes slightly downhill after that. Nice one.
