COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In 1929, America was devastated by a great stock market crash that led to The Great Depression. Our infamous Black Tuesday stout is named in honor of the largest trading day of that crash, which led to some very dark times for our country. “So Happens it’s Tuesday” is a slightly less intense incarnation of Black Tuesday, reminding us that there is always some good to be found within the bad. Things happen, life goes on, and this beer can be enjoyed in all of those moments.

gyllenbock (10263) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 22, 2018
On tap at Mikes BBQ Escondido. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, licorice, say sauce and dark malt. The same in the taste. Warming alcohol in the finish.

NikkTwist (3463) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 17, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 17, 2018 Draft at Khyber Pass. Black pour with a slim brown ring. Big whiskey up front. Feels big and alcoholic - despite the fact that this is billed as a less ramped Black Tuesday. The underlying stout is largely lost beneath the barrel notes. Full but ultimately simple notes of coffee, chocolate, liquorice, peat and raisins. Maybe infected. Giant beer but feels cheap.

Aurelius (5682) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - FEB 12, 2018
Very whiskeyish aroma, laced with bittersweet cocoa and light anise. Raisiny, some heat, toasted, chocoolate. Fairly acidic. Lots of dark fruit in the finish. Warming going down. Thanks to Jme down at Proof.

SlackerMads (3646) - DENMARK - FEB 6, 2018
Bottle. Black with a medium sized light brown head with rood regeneration and lace. Chocolate, brown sugar, molasses, alcohol and light fudge in the aroma. The flavour has lots of bourbon: white wood, coconut and sawdust. Some white chocolate, syrup and light roasted malt as well. Full body, oily texture, heavy sweet and bitter with warming alcohol. Long finish with bourbon. Not too boozy.

bhensonb (16124) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 5, 2018
Capped 750 shared by Marcus. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of dark malt, brown sugar, bourbon, wood. Very pleasing aroma. Med ++ body. Flavor is smoky, woody, smooth dark malt, brown sugar, a little heat, some bourbon, more smoke and wood. Very nice in a rather smoky way.

marcus (10974) - Sacramento, California, USA - FEB 5, 2018
Bottle from Healthy Spirits. Pours dark brown with a thick tan head and a treacle and chocolate aroma. There is a full-bodied dark molasses flavor with brown sugar and a little chocolate. Smoky finish with a warm alcohol trail.

punkska101 (2214) - Chambly, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 4, 2018
Bottle shared with Seb A: intense licorice, dates and prunes. A touch of chocolate. Alcohol. Some raisins. App: pitch black no head. T/p: full body with sweet finish of average duration. Soft carbonation. O: I've had Black Tuesday lately and this way more digest. The alcohol isn't too upfront. The aroma is pretty nice.

ACHops (1725) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 31, 2018
On tap @ The Yard. Pours thick dark brownish black with medium creamy mocha head that laces heavily. Aroma is big boozy barrel notes, dried figs and raisins, syrupy sweetness. Taste is similar - thick coating mouthfeel, rich dark fruit juice - think prunes, marionberries - dry oaky finish. Rich. Boozy. Way fruitier than you might expect from an barrel-aged stout like this. Odd, but I liked it.

SHIG (5300) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - JAN 29, 2018
Bottle: Poured a brown with a tan color head. Aroma is coconut but has some off hints. Taste is tart Infected mess.

3.6
cobaink2 (867) - seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 21, 2018
750 ml bottle. Not sure if this is infected or not seems to have a vinegar like taste with a bit of figs in the background,
