COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In 1929, America was devastated by a great stock market crash that led to The Great Depression. Our infamous Black Tuesday stout is named in honor of the largest trading day of that crash, which led to some very dark times for our country. “So Happens it’s Tuesday” is a slightly less intense incarnation of Black Tuesday, reminding us that there is always some good to be found within the bad. Things happen, life goes on, and this beer can be enjoyed in all of those moments.

750ml bottle shared at epic Cantillon tasting. Aroma: molasses, chocolate, candied fruits, vanilla, raisin. App: dark brown with medium moka head, little lacing. Taste and palate: full body, medium high sweetness, some vanilla, light bitter and alcohol finish. Overall: good beer but feels a bit too strong for me. Too much alcohol for me.

Poured from the quart bottle. Quiet pour with moderate carbonation and an assertive complex aroma - bourbon, roasted barley, vanilla, and oak. The beer is an opaque dark colour with a thin head and only minimal lace. The aggressive bourbon-oak start has malty smoothness and roasted barley expanding into the middle. The long lingering finish has notes of vanilla and hints of chocolate. Good mouthfeel throughout. Well made indeed!

Large format bottle pours black with a nice tan head. The aroma is reminiscent of Black Tuesday, molasses, anise, chocolate, roast, vanilla, bourbon. Flavor is intense, doesn’t seem like a lighter version of anything. Big molasses, sweet chocolate malts, some bitterness on the finish. Not too boozy. Quite heavy on the feel, albeit not as much as the original. Pretty good.
