Big thanks to tectactoe. I liked this one better than Sour In The Rye. Still that nice vinegar tart but with more citrus. Marheb (5982) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 3, 2013
Draft at Mon Petit Cafe, Stuttgart. Full of fruity notes, iranges, tangerines and something else (probably kumquats). Very sour, tart, funky, balanced with fruity notes and oak. Amazing. merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - OCT 14, 2013
A: Murky Orange Hue, Passes Mild Light, White Head Ring, Mild Lacing
S: Dank Musty Grapes, Kumquats, Rye Malts, Mild Citrus
T: Kumquats, Rye, Citrus, Mild Lactic Acid
M: Average Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Semi Bitter, Mildly Tart
Overall, it seems that the kumquats cut down the lactic acid on this one but you still get all the other qualities of the base Sour in the Rye....loving this beer better. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 2, 2013
Pour out of 750 mL bottle, hazy orange pour with thin white head, aroma has big vanilla, white fruit with peach, pear, slight funk, nice fruity notes, touch of earth. Taste is a mix of big fruit, white fruit, funky fruit, nice earth, hints of grass, nice sweet fruits, fnishing fairly bitter, dry. slightly sweet. So good.

Bottle. Hazy orange pour with a white head. Aroma is slightly acidic with notes of citrus. Flavor is pretty sour and the kumquats add a nice touch as well. Vinous and citrus character all throughout. Not overwhelmingly sour either, very drinkable. Delicious. Thanks Homer for the bottle! Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JUL 20, 2013
Bottle: The aroma consists orange/citrus, light lemon, light floral notes, and a touch of tropical fruits. It pours a hazy dark orange with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with moderate tart orange/citrus and faint tropical fruits. The finish has moderate-heavy sour lemon, light lime, and a hint of vinegar. It?s light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle shared at the Swamp Head Bottle Drop. Pours slightly murky orange colored with a fluffy white to off white head on top. Beautiful aroma of sour vinegar, tropical fruit, and the light spice I get from the regular SitR. Flavor follows with light sourness that is sweetened up by the semisweet and tart kumquats, clean crisp finish with a lingering fruity flavor left on the palate. My wife, not being a fan of most beers, actually even really enjoyed this one. The fruit balances the sour perfectly here and creates a new beer that retains the beautiful sour flare that I love in the regular version. A little more heft than the regular version, creamy yet crisp, sweet and tart, with medium plus carbonation. I would have this one again and again. AmykalH04 (35) - - JUL 14, 2014
Pours a hazy orange with a 1/2in white head. not much head retention.
sour slight vinegar on the nose with lots of kumquat coming through nicely.
Lots of kumquat with nice rye notes and a good sourness. not as sour as i thought it would be but still great.
thin hits the tongue nicely really feel it on the sides and back of the tongue.
Great beer. nice fruit and sourness. would love to try SITR Peaches.
