Tap at the Bruery. The beer has a really strong rye component on top of a sour beer. Borderline being a dash metallic. Interesting to try, but not a favorite...
Poured from a bottle. Dark plum brown color, huge off white frothy head. Sour malt and rye aroma. Medium body with a nice rye flavor with a mild sour malt finish.

4 nov 2012, tap at the Bruery. Dark but brown, clear, no bubbles. Nose is blend if light sour and malty brown ale. Thin body and mildly fizzy. Sweet vinaigrette. Very nice.

Brown colored beer with an off-white head. Smells of caramel, white wine vinegar, an a light balsamic note. A hint of vanilla, oak, mild dark fruit, and some light roast. The flavor is quite sharp and sour. White vinegar, light caramel sweetness, and some toast and toast. A fair amount of wood and a hint of vanilla. Probably the best of the barrel aged variations so far.

I think this is a non fruited version (I may be wrong), and it has lower abv. Dark brown pour, slightly reddish, with an off white head. Acidic red vinegar, spicey rye malt, sweetness, strong oak character, and buttery. Decent, but a little too vinegary for my taste, and I don’t like the butter.
