COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sourrento is a sour ale that was inspired by the lemon flavored spirt, Limoncello which hails from the city of Sorrento, Italy. To create this unique, sweetly sour flavor, we aged our sour blonde ale with both lemon zest and fresh vanilla beans. The resulting beer is somewhere between a classic sour ale, a delightful Italian apertif, and a lemon meringue pie.

Slightly hazy bright yellow, just a bit of white head. Aroma has lactic tartness, vanilla and some herbal tea. Taste starts tart and acidic but then comes the vanilla sweetness, lots of floral flavors and lemon. Light, acidic body. Really nice one, complex and tasty.

sample from bottle, poured a hazy deep golden colour with a small white head on top. nose of lemons, yeast, vanilla sweetness, riped orange, zest, and caramel sweetness. aftertaste is way overpowered by off tasting vinegar kind of acid tartness.

2016 bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with a non lasting white head. Nose has Brett and lemons and even a hint of vanilla and it really works beautifully. Great nose. Sour citronmåne for the Danish readers. Taste is nicely sour and light with great lemonny flavours. Great mouthfeel and a lovely fresh aftertaste.

Vanilla inside and out dominates a clear amber ale. Only slightly tart but that grows in the finish. I like this.

Poured an orange with a white head. Aroma was of lemon and lots of vanilla. Flaver similar, maybe a bit too much vanilla, but good overall.
