fantastically drinkable sour despite the acidity. lemons and vanilla on the nose and palate. Really cool combo of lemon lime, sour and vanilla. Smooth body begs for another sip. 4.3 may be selling it short even. djd07 (15661) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 14, 2015
Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a hazy orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is strong vanilla bean and funk. Thin mouth, very tart, sweetness from vanilla, lemon, really good. Bule (2274) - California, USA - APR 18, 2015
750ml bottle pours a hazy orange color without much head. Tar and vanilla aroma. Medium sourness with a lot of vanilla flavor. The vanilla lingers.

750 ml bottle. From the RS. Cloudy gold straw color, no head. Aroma is like a fermented fruit that is almost like lemon. Sugar and vanilla notes to boot! AdamChandler (5183) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - APR 11, 2015
The flavor is tart lemons right up front with a massive pucker in the back of the taste buds. Almost hurts my glands. The vanilla does try and balance it but... Still pretty puckering. Interesting but can’t drink more than 5 oz.
Hazy gold, almost no head. There’s a ton of vanilla on the nose and just a hint of Tostitos w/ lime. Tihis is very sour. vanilla is super present, lots of lime, sour sour sour. finish is a lingering lime. Honestly I love vanilla so that’s great but this is just too sour to have in large quantities.

Shared by Lunch. Pale yellow, mild haze, nary a head. Aromas of pineapple, mango, yeast, sour funk, vanilla. Orange creamsicle flavor. Sweet with huge notes of vanilla. A bit out of balance and overly sweet. Still, some good shit going on. Interesting... Frank (4240) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 23, 2015
The popularity of this brewery is baffling to me. This is a cloudy blond novelty sour w/ a load of vanilla dumped in it. Vanilla and lemon in the nose. Lots of acidity. Lots of vanilla. A bit of an aggressive phenolic character and also vanilla. This would be good mixed w/ sugar and poured over some crepes, I think. As beer, it is bad. ryanfolty (2611) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - MAR 17, 2015
March 17, 2015 - bottle from the Bruery in my Bruery snifter. Orange pour with big white head that faded quickly. Aroma was lemon, wood, spice and vanilla. Taste was consistent with the aroma. The wood was strong but a nice sour lemon balanced it out and then the vanilla came out in the finish. Ontape (471) - Valley Village, California, USA - MAR 14, 2015
Bottle. Crazy beer, unlike any I can recall or imagine. Smells like vanilla and light lemon. Taste brings oak barrel, more vanilla, tart lemon, candle qualities. Ties together with the lacto finish. Feels like it shouldn’t work but somehow does. jtclockwork (17416) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 11, 2015
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2015 Bottle. Pours gold white head. Nose/taste of vanilla bean, lime zest, sour lemon and funky oak. Medium body. Odd beer, but I enjoyed it.
