COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sourrento is a sour ale that was inspired by the lemon flavored spirt, Limoncello which hails from the city of Sorrento, Italy. To create this unique, sweetly sour flavor, we aged our sour blonde ale with both lemon zest and fresh vanilla beans. The resulting beer is somewhere between a classic sour ale, a delightful Italian apertif, and a lemon meringue pie.

750ml bottle. Poured a golden color with an averaged sized head. Different. Citrus, lemons, vanilla, some wood, and tart / sour finish. Found it a little salty too.

Bottle to glass, from the Preservation Society. Pours a hazy deep golden color with an off white head. Aroma is mildly tart, lemon-lime, faint vanilla. Flavor brings out much more of the creamy vanilla and lemon-lime character. Slightly tart and creamy sweet in the finish. I really enjoyed this beer! Would love to have it again.

Tasting at daks house, haha limoncello beer! Lots of lemon and tartness, old mouthfeel but your standard solid bruery base sourness. The only thing they can do well

Pour from a 750mL bottle from the Preservation Society thing. Glad I got this bottle - it sounds as good as it is. Hazy amber orangish pour with just a slight head that goes away very quickly. Really cool lemon and vanilla nose with a hint of oak in there. Really nice level of sourness here. Lemon, vanilla, slight crust notes, depth from the oak. Really cool.

Bottle from unknown via Mykel. Pours a slightly hazy orange, little bit of of white head. Smells like an orange creamsicle, hmm... Lots of vanilla, oak, caramel. Body lively and dry, some level of juiciness. Finish tart, more oak and citrus. Eh, good but not one to be sought after.

Yellow pour, light head. Weird beer. I think my friend stated it best, kinda tastes like a bad lemon/vanilla cookie yogurt. Finish is weird, fake vanilla. Overwhelms the lemony notes. Oak is light.

Bottle @ Every Bruery Beer Tasting. Clear golden pour with a white head. Smells of vanilla, lime, and lemon. Some hints of white wine vinegar, lemon juice, and orange zest. Taste is a bit like a creamsicle. A bunch of orange and lemon zest. Some vanilla, oak, and maybe some grass. Interesting beer. I kind of liked it, even if it doesn’t seem like it should work.
