Bottle share at Bruce’s pad. Murky dark red - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Pretty tart cherry but unlike my bros I didn’t think was acidic. Mild vanilla on the back end. Touch of balsamic vinegar in the crisp dry finish. Very tart, but drinkable.

Bottle shared by Garret at Salud, thank you sir! Dark maroon purple color, beige head. Nice aroma of dark sour cherries soaked in vanilla. Taste has big vanilla, plums, cherries, subtle lemon, nice tart sourness. Delicious.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Kenneth. Pours cloudy brown with a frothy tan head. Lots of tart berries in the aroma, some grape skins, rich cherries. Light to medium sweet flavor, lightly acetic, with nips of cinnamon, dried cherries, other rich berries. Medium bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Finishes with more tart, lightly acetic berries, some gritty sand. Quenching and tangy, with light tongue-blistering tartness. Pretty good.

Bottle split at Chez Bruce, thanks to Kenneth King of Essex, 28/11/14. Murky brown with reddish hues topped with moderate beige spotting and edgework. Nose os tangy cherries, musty, dank wood, light smoke, vanilla essence, cherry drops. Taste comprises dark fruit balsams, tarte cherry skin, light smoke, red berry tarteness, good acidic rinse. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent sour, interesting sweet and sour balance.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. Gusher! It pours cloudy darkest brown with a small tan head. The nose is tangy darks fruits, acetic, cocoa, roasty, juicy cherry, balsamic vinegar, vanilla and rubber. The taste is sour, acidic, lactic, roasty, earth, toast, cherry, balsamic vinegar, sherbet and tart green apple with a hot, acidic finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. I like the idea, but it is pretty damn acidic. Alright.

On tap @ The Bruery. Just about black in color with a fizzy khaki head. Sour lemon juice, cherry, and some lemongrass. Roast, dark chocolate, and coffee. Slight vanilla and oak. Lots of cherry and lemon sourness to the flavor. Slightly acetic. Tons of roasted malt and dark fruit. Mild vanilla, caramel, and chocolate sweetness. Slight coffee and grass.
