Bottle share at Bruce’s pad. Murky dark red - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, dry and crisp. Pretty tart cherry but unlike my bros I didn’t think was acidic. Mild vanilla on the back end. Touch of balsamic vinegar in the crisp dry finish. Very tart, but drinkable.
Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Kenneth. Pours cloudy brown with a frothy tan head. Lots of tart berries in the aroma, some grape skins, rich cherries. Light to medium sweet flavor, lightly acetic, with nips of cinnamon, dried cherries, other rich berries. Medium bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Finishes with more tart, lightly acetic berries, some gritty sand. Quenching and tangy, with light tongue-blistering tartness. Pretty good. Bottle thanks to Kenny. Gusher! It pours cloudy darkest brown with a small tan head. The nose is tangy darks fruits, acetic, cocoa, roasty, juicy cherry, balsamic vinegar, vanilla and rubber. The taste is sour, acidic, lactic, roasty, earth, toast, cherry, balsamic vinegar, sherbet and tart green apple with a hot, acidic finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. I like the idea, but it is pretty damn acidic. Alright. djd07 (15342) - Houston, Texas, USA - OCT 28, 2014
