Deeper yeastie flavors with a nice peppering of pepper throughout. Slight floral notes. Light but enjoyable. explosivedog (1101) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 2, 2016
Serve from bottle. Aroma is floral, pepper and a sugary note. Aroma is a little hot pepper, lots of floral character. The citrus and spice coming from the Thai basil makes it feel more like a fairly nice saison rather than the surprise the label implies is coming. Still, quite nice. Bomber to glass - beautiful! Pours a hazed orange-straw, strong, two finger white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, coriander, banana, maybe clove. Medium bodied, kinda creamy, yet has a carbonated bite. Taste is tart sugar cane, sun drenched apricot and banana, hay, spice towards the end with a little bit of burn down the hatch. Good beer. rougeau13 (2957) - Richmond, Texas, USA - OCT 16, 2016
