750ml bottle. Deep brown with a few khaki bubbles. Nose is wine, sweet, barrel, grape, light alcohol. Great palate, heavy grape/wine, barrel, light alcohol, super smooth finish. radagast83 (8301) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUN 3, 2017
Draft pour at Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience 2017. Poured a dark ruby red color, off white head. Aroma was roasted malts, some bitter chocolate notes, oak barrel and a nice helping of astringent notes. Flavor had just a little too much character that I liken to how nail polish remover tastes like. Too hot. Not a fan.

750ml bottle pours a dark brown color with some frothy head that dissipates quickly. Some intense flavors that don't quite come together. Oak tannins a little harsh.

March 17, 2017 - bottle from my membership. Dark brown with limited head that faded quickly. Aroma was wood, bourbon and fruit/grapes. Taste was stronger on the bourbon and wood, but the combo with the grapes just seemed a bit odd. Finish was quite dry and maybe some tartness Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - DEC 6, 2016
