COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If some of the best wines are blends of several grape varieties, imagine what could be achieved when applied to beer. This Black Tuesday varietal is blended and fermented with must from 75% destemmed and 25% whole cluster Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes from Sans Liege. After nearly a year in oak, this release vanquishes the boundaries between wine and beer.
Imperial Stout fermented with grenache, syrah and mourvèdre grapes aged in new American oak puncheons.

Bottle. Pours clear brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of oak and grape. Malt and grape flavor with a big oak finish. Not my fave. The oak just dominates through and through.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle poured into a cup. Clear black with small-white head. Aroma is rich grapes, medium body, light carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is grapes and some chocolate.

Bottle opened by Ryan at Logan's house. Pours a dark brown with some purplish notes, with a tan ring. Tawny port aromas, with some milk chocolate, light coffee, and caramel. Sweet and just a bit tart. Heavy body, with a creamy, thick, and lightly acidic mouthfeel. This is a fun, and nicely vineous beer. Very interesting.

Bottle from Hoarders, thanks to Adamchandler for the share. Pours a deep ruby color, no head. Aroma is reminiscent of red wine more than anything, huge red grape, Syrah stands out the most. But honestly it is closer to a lower end red wine rather than a beer. Mouthfeel shows a good amount of alcohol. Pretty hot in the finish.

It's a fruit beer! Wow. Looks like a very dark merlot than what was once a stout. Really great to see this as still ratable. concord grape juice, sparkling wine and cocoa aroma. The taste...I can appreciate it but it tastes like old, cheap, oxidized grocery store wine. No other way to say it.....

Cool sounding beer that was enjoyed, if a bit over the top. You can tell the wine component was high as the color is much lighter (and redder) than Black Tuesday.
Pretty well balanced between red wine, barrel and light roasted malt and chocolate. A little hot as expected.

750ml bottle. Deep brown with a few khaki bubbles. Nose is wine, sweet, barrel, grape, light alcohol. Great palate, heavy grape/wine, barrel, light alcohol, super smooth finish.
