COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If some of the best wines are blends of several grape varieties, imagine what could be achieved when applied to beer. This Black Tuesday varietal is blended and fermented with must from 75% destemmed and 25% whole cluster Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grapes from Sans Liege. After nearly a year in oak, this release vanquishes the boundaries between wine and beer.
Imperial Stout fermented with grenache, syrah and mourvèdre grapes aged in new American oak puncheons.

Bottle shared at Beer Temple thanks to JeppeDK. Dark brown with no head. Aroma of oak, vanilla, big vinous off course, dark chocolate, oak, caramel and licorice. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Light full bodied with alcohol warmth in the finish and soft carbonation.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of bourbon vanilla, red grapes, oak, milk chocolate, fudge and caramel. Taste has red grapes, mild tart, bourbon vanilla, chocolate, oak, booze and a strong vinous finish. Creative and nice. Wow.

Draft pour at Savor: An American Craft Beer & Food Experience 2017. Poured a dark ruby red color, off white head. Aroma was roasted malts, some bitter chocolate notes, oak barrel and a nice helping of astringent notes. Flavor had just a little too much character that I liken to how nail polish remover tastes like. Too hot. Not a fan.

750ml bottle pours a dark brown color with some frothy head that dissipates quickly. Some intense flavors that don't quite come together. Oak tannins a little harsh.

March 17, 2017 - bottle from my membership. Dark brown with limited head that faded quickly. Aroma was wood, bourbon and fruit/grapes. Taste was stronger on the bourbon and wood, but the combo with the grapes just seemed a bit odd. Finish was quite dry and maybe some tartness

6 Dec 2016, tap at the Bruery. ruby/brown. nose is grapy/winey with some new oak aromas. it is really weird. not what i expected from a black tuesday variant. med body and moderately fizzy. new oak, winey, sawdust, some sweet and some tart notes. crazy! but i like it.
