COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Oui Oui is the second in our Vitis Series. For this version, we aged our sour blonde ale in used wine barrels along with chardonnay grapes. The resulting ale has a pleasant funk with resounding similarities to a California chardonnay wine." Its an RS only release.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of anacrime. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a small white head. Very tart, vinegary nose, loads of funk and Brett. Medium body, lowish carbonation, sour grapes, subtle acetone, quite some Brett too. Ends very sour, bordering astringent. Almost like a very sour Spanish or British cider. 250213

Hazy pale gold beer. No head. Palate is crisp, light and semi dry. Tart beer, mildly acidic. Lemon and white wine. Some worcester sauce sourness. Comes together reasonably well with a tart dry crisp finish. Okay but could not drink loads.

Pours a nearly flat hazed golden color. Strong aromas of chardonnay (and grapes in general). Quite a bit of oak and a mild note of sulfur. The tartness is moderate, but definitely there. Just a mild earthy funk to it as well. Surprisingly, the grapes are even stronger on the palate. Intense chardonnay flavor with a little bit of lemon peel and green apple. Slightly tannic with a noticeable residual sweetness.

Bottle thanks to Elliot. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with paperthin white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is oak, grapes, and funk. Thin mouthfeel with strong wine grape and oak with light sour finish. Held up very well, really enjoyed this one.
