COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The primary component of our “White Oak” ale is a 100% barrel aged wheat wine that we affectionately refer to as “White Oak Sap.” Essentially a “summer” barley-wine style ale, but made with a wheat heavy grain base, White Oak Sap is aged in used bourbon barrels for nearly a year and comes out rich in flavors of coconut, honey, caramel and vanilla. To compliment the already rich flavors of the beer, we’ve added cacao nibs and vanilla beans to give this beer the delicate flavor of white chocolate…hence the name.
2015 Release = 16.6% ABV. ABV varies by vintage.

Bottle poured into glass. Big Big thanks to Randy (the future) for breaking this bottle out. I had no idea that a wheat wine could smell and taste so delicious. White chocolate spot on! Super easy to drink, ABV masked extremely well. Everything works in harmony together perfectly! Can’t wait to try this again.

What a contrast to Black Tuesday, but just as delicious. Poured a sip by a guy on St. Patrick’s Day 2014 at a local bottle shop! What a surprise!!!

pours a nice light tan color. Nose is incredible with notes of toasted chocolate. The taste is just unbelievably like white chocolate with some caramel and whiskey in the finish. The 14% alcohol is barely noticable. Wow. This beer tastes exactly how the name describes. Unreal!! it tastes and smells like WIlly Wonka’s factory. Just delicious. I have found my new favorite beer. Would buy a case and drink forever and ever!!!

Amazing beer, definitely a special idea, with flawless execution. The name really says it all, if you have access to this beer try it for yourself, it’s definitely worth it. Reading reviews is not enough. The words are not enough.

The smell gives off coconut, biscuit, vanilla and a strong chocolate finish. There is no booze on the aroma. Big vanilla and chocolate flavors dominate this beer (just like the name says). Like the aroma there is a biscuit and coconut aftertaste. Surprisingly smooth, there is a little alcohol bite on the back end. This is one sweet beer. Don’t try to finish this bottle in one shot or you will be sorry. A good beer to share with some friends. This beer has a fantastic creamy mouthfeel. It really is like drinking White Chocolate. Typical little or no carbonation. This beer is fairly thick and sticky. If you are a fan of the sticky sweet beers, this beer is for you. Amazing flavor profile coupled with a unusual mouth feel make this beer a winner in my book. The longer I held onto it and let it warm up the better it got.

Slightly hazy bright copper with a thin ivory foam cap. Brisk sugary white chocolate nose with a kiss of raisin and loads of vanilla. Big boozy flavor that’s rummy/raisin-ish with lots of herbal vanilla and chocolate cake tones. Boozy warm finish a raisin whisper at the end with a bit more white chocolaty vanilla. Incredible.

Omg. This stuff is amazing. Pours golden brown with a thin white head and a carb fountain that doesn't stop. The nose is exactly as the name implies, white chocolate, vanilla, whiskey booze greatness. Taste is ultra sweet but the bitter balance is there. It's so decadent. Mouthfeel is crisp and sticky coating. The body is like a hulking gorilla and the finish lasts forever. Amazing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
