On tap at the Bruery Reserve Initiation party 2011. Pours a murky apricot orange color with very little head. Sour fruit (grape) type notes in the nose that are fairly light and delicate, nothing to in your face but nice and subtle. Light mouthfeel. The taste is more pronounced than the nose with nice fruit flavors of grape, peach, and apricot. Ends semi dry. Not a complete stand out but very drinkable and pleasant. On tap at the Bruery’s 1st anniversary party 5/16/09: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a stringy-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of vinous white grapes and light oak with a touch of toasty malt. Starts fairly full and lightly sweet with some mild toffee and strawberry notes before a lingering semi-tart vinous finish. A fairly complex yet drinkable brew. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 12, 2010
A: Cloudy peach type color, no visibility through the glass at all. No head.
S: Interesting combination of sweet and sour. Lots of fruit, some unripe, some ripe. The ones I noticed were grapes (not surprising since it’s aged in Zin barrels), apples, and maybe it was just the color, but peaches.
T: Excellent tartness, but good sweet flavor as well. Grapes and peaches after the initial (intense) sourness. Very good balance.
M: Kind of flat, medium bodied.
D: Great sour beer, I wish I could have had more of this. beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - DEC 7, 2009
Golden orange body with a thin white head. Crisp tart nose of citrus and white grape. The Zin gives off a spicy floral note, almost like honey and berries. Finish is sour and moderately acidic. j12601 (13027) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - OCT 29, 2009
Pouring at the Night of the Funk event in Boston. Pours a hazy light amber gold. Little cheesy and funky. Light, very subtle. Finishes up dry with some light acid.

Pours a hazy golden orange.
Nose is fruity, clean, bright hints of citrus.
Taste is light on the palate, fairly high carbonation, peaches, lemon, oak, and a ton of white wine grapes. puzzl (3260) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 25, 2009
Tap at Night of the Funk. Cloudy pour. Cabbage, ketchup, green grape aroma. Tart flavor has a nice kick but a watery finish. A bit of mint, oaky grain, peach and grape. Good complexity. SuIIy (1983) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - OCT 17, 2009
Sample at NotF. Pours a light orange color with a light hint of fruits in the nose. Palate is smooth then quite fizzy in the finish. The white zin is very present in the flavor as is some light sour notes. SuzyGreenberg (1603) - Seattle, Washington, USA - SEP 29, 2009
growler - thanks to brandon for this one; cloudy light orange; definitely has a zing to the nose with fruity and floral mix of wine, grapes and sour fruit; mildly sharp at first but this one really grew on me; fuzzy texture the refreshing fruit, oranges, grapes and perfect level of lacto sourness; wheat and lemons with sweet, fruit finish; delightful and made more interesting as it was sampled next to toronado 20th iowaherkeye (2703) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - SEP 23, 2009
On tap @ Beachwood BBQ. Pale fizzy Fresca in color with a small off-white head. Sour berry and white grape nose--a bit of a fruity soda thing going on as well. Flavor is much the same with some light leather and oak. Wheaty finish with sourness peaking @ a 4, hint of butteryness (more brett?). Light to medium body with light prickly carbonation. Not too bad at all--a little too sodapop-ish to keep it from making me really happy.
