On tap at the Bruery Reserve Initiation party 2011. Pours a murky apricot orange color with very little head. Sour fruit (grape) type notes in the nose that are fairly light and delicate, nothing to in your face but nice and subtle. Light mouthfeel. The taste is more pronounced than the nose with nice fruit flavors of grape, peach, and apricot. Ends semi dry. Not a complete stand out but very drinkable and pleasant. On tap at the Bruery’s 1st anniversary party 5/16/09: Pours a transparent copper bronze with a stringy-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of vinous white grapes and light oak with a touch of toasty malt. Starts fairly full and lightly sweet with some mild toffee and strawberry notes before a lingering semi-tart vinous finish. A: Cloudy peach type color, no visibility through the glass at all. No head.
S: Interesting combination of sweet and sour. Lots of fruit, some unripe, some ripe. The ones I noticed were grapes (not surprising since it’s aged in Zin barrels), apples, and maybe it was just the color, but peaches.
T: Excellent tartness, but good sweet flavor as well. Grapes and peaches after the initial (intense) sourness. Very good balance.
M: Kind of flat, medium bodied.

Pouring at the Night of the Funk event in Boston. Pours a hazy light amber gold. Little cheesy and funky. Light, very subtle. Finishes up dry with some light acid.

Nose is fruity, clean, bright hints of citrus.

On tap @ Beachwood BBQ. Pale fizzy Fresca in color with a small off-white head. Sour berry and white grape nose--a bit of a fruity soda thing going on as well. Flavor is much the same with some light leather and oak. Wheaty finish with sourness peaking @ a 4, hint of butteryness (more brett?). Light to medium body with light prickly carbonation. Not too bad at all--a little too sodapop-ish to keep it from making me really happy.
