UPDATED: JUL 23, 2009 cloudy ruby-red grapefruit juice color. Whispy white top. Somewhat stale & hoppy fruity nose with strawberries, peaches, and some cardboard too. Clean, fruity sourness, some berry, some peach, some bacterial infections and sourness all over. I dig it. boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 16, 2009
Tap @ Belmont Station... Poured cloudy orange with a white head. Spiced, dry aroma. Flavors were high in acidity with a tangy fruit character and a honey, herbal sweetness. Really dry with strong vinegar too. Buttery, shortbread-like malts and apple fruits in the finish. Ungstrup (37600) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2009
Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has strong notes of wine as well as spices, muscat and more. The flavor is very acidic with strong notes of winegrapes as well as medium notes of wood, lemon, and some spices - again muscat coming thru, leading to a tart lemony finish. nickd717 (4691) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 1, 2009

Tap at Sacramento Brewing. Served in a tulip. Poured a light orange/reddish color with a white head that didn’t last long. Sort of citric funky aroma. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Flavor: Tart; Citric; underlying funk. Finishes astringent. Tartly tasty brew. Drinks way too easy. It is really good. marcus (10227) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 15, 2009
On tap at Sacramento Brewing. This beer looks like grapefruit juice and smells like grapes. It has a pleasant grape flavor that it just tart enough to be enjoyable. This is a unique brew that is fun to drink. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - MAY 19, 2009
Draught at The Bruery’s anniversary. Orange with a small head. The aroma is funky and tart, but with a much bigger fruity, vinous character and less funk that the cuvee juene. The flavor has plenty of grape-fruitiness with medium tartness and a low a amount of funk. Light bodied and too carbonated. Pretty cool stuff, but while interesting, not as good as the juene in my book. paiste2002 (186) - Saugus, California, USA - MAY 16, 2009
Tap at the Blue Palms in Hollywood. Poured a crystal clear orange with almost no head what so ever. Aroma is sour fruit, yeasty funk, with some white grape skin in the mix. Flavor is very nice! Sour crisp zinfandel grape, some yeasty oaky funkiness in the finish. This is a very nice creation, I sure wish they would consider bottling this one. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAY 16, 2009
Light pinkish orange with no head nice strong sour aroma. Sweet green apple and fermented grape taste with a tart dry finish.
