From a bottle. Not too bad at all for a mid strength, could well be the best I’ve had. Spicey with a mild malt biscuit finish. ShaneJ (898) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 12, 2014
Bottle from Beer Cartel (Jan 2014). Clear mid-amber, white head, aroma and flavour dominated by caramel malt, burnt butter, mild grassy/herbal hops, mild bitterness, medium sweetness, thin texture, light body. An ok mild, could do with a bit more hopping. vanvenlo (1910) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - NOV 22, 2013
The Local Taphouse StKilda ontap (23-Nov-13) Sweet, slight funk fruit aroma. Clear amber colour, poor head and suds lacing. Light biscuit malt and light funky stale herbal hop flavour. Funky grass hop finish and light malt and herbal aftertaste. Needs more crafting finesse for me, even though it is a mild sort of beer. Lunkie (1956) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - NOV 22, 2013
Herbal hop malt aroma. Clear amber colour poor head and lacing. Herbal spice malt flavour. Fizzy palate.

No BB found. Poured a cloudy amber colour with a one-finger off white foamy head that diminished quickly to a thin bubble line. Laced poorly. Low to moderate carbonation as seen by medium sized bubbles forming trails. Aroma with lots of nice floral hops and subtle tropical fruits. Taste of nice hops all the way. Light body but watery mouthfeel. Smooth and crisp with nice hops bitterness to finish. Very nice.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours clear amber with a small white with good retention. Nose shows a fair bit of floral hops with some toffee biscuit to back it and mild tropical notes. Taste is an extension of this with a focus on tropical notes and heavy caramel. Palate has a solid amount of carbonation to help it flow and it’s mouth feel is not here or there. For a light beer, this is very good Maris (1574) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - APR 4, 2013
From a 330ml bottle on 4/4/2013. Pours a clear light golden with a small head. Has a quite lovely aroma of passionfruit and tropical fruits, with lots of subtle floral notes. The flavour is primarily stone fruit with quite a firm hop bitterness finishing things off. The carbonation is medium. The only knock is that the palate is a touch watery. Otherwise, this really is very good, especially given that, at 2.9%, it’s basically a light beer. A terrific option if you want to down a few and still be good to drive.
